I’m sure Chris also had an extensive Wish List and his Work Ethic and the Fact he is so Conscientious helped both he and his Uncle start purchasing the Equipment they would need to become even more Productive. It’s Obvious there isn’t any wasted Motion when the Equipment is in use. Efficiency is Mandatory and the Difference between Success and Failure. Smooth Operator!👍

It looked exactly like that, but he still only took just over 2 buckets to fill that gigantic one! Faster then trying to scoop it up off the ground and less clean up to boot!

I always enjoy watching you as a professional Operator. I just watched a video where the guy was a “Herky-Jerky Joystick Jerker” and it only makes me appreciate watching OPERATORS run a piece of equipment.

Lot of dirt and brush. Long catch for the rain. Now the frogs can come back. Just imagine the noise they will make, because you cleaned their mud puddles. LOL That loader sure helped you move along quickly.

I know the question has been raised before but I will ask again man when do you sleep? I like how you don't get lost in a big job. You think it out create a plan and get it done. If there is a hiccup you think it through and keep going. Nice of those folks to let you use the end loader. You are probably easier on it than they are. I think they will be pleased...

A 1 Mile ditch, Chris is making this look easy. especially if there is a lot of ground water. lol @ the 8 yard bucket... Coming fall 2021 an 8 Yard Skid Steer Bucket with a 5 Ton Counter Weight..... and a massive tow strap. :)

Great job Maybe I'm missing something. Could you have cleaned the ditch and piled it on the ground where the wheel loader was. The wheel loader could have scooped it up and kept making trips while you kept clearing the ditch. It appeared that you were always waiting for the loader to come back so you could dump your bucket into his and keep the area clean.

my last job i had, i used a 12 yard bucket.. talk about movin material fast. two or three scoops and a full forty foot trailer load is moved.. and yes it was a volvo. very comfy, i miss it.

So... what you have instead of a drainage ditch, because of almost no fall, is a very long, skinny retention pond along the fence line.

Looks like pretty good topsoil, time to get the screener fired back up. I used a loader like that with a 12 foot wide brush hog on steroids 12 inch maple didn't even slow it down, used it on power lines ROW .

Smooth bottom ditches are better when they can’t be deep and have little slope. They hold more water and don’t silt in as fast. This ditch drains a huge parking lot and buildings.

I use my muck bucket and brush rake more than my digging bucket. I don't have the tilt on my muck bucket so I can still use the thumb if I need to grab something

Where's your dump truck? Would save on fuel. Also I'd see if the owner would like the dirt sifted or screened of trash to be used somewhere else on the property.

You should get the Screener back and screen the pile of dirt. You/they would have a good amount of clean soil to use or sell.

Years and years of leaking oil, hydrophilic fluid, and diesel? I would not use it anywhere but where it is at. They probably do better about "capture" now, but who knows how bad it was years ago. Even at best there is some loss.

@@rlewis1946 He demoed some Volvo machines a few years back at their testing grounds and one of the machines had a grade control. When you're ditching without a laser or grade control you just kinda hope the existing ditch was dug with some slope and try to hold that grade best as possible. Chris has almost a 6th sense when it comes to grade I'm sure. I can cut swales or grade sites by feel and I'm not 1/100th the operator he is

If you aren't careful you could wind up with a moat! I'd have to start by the drainage ditch or it would be all messed up. Good luck hope everything keeps going well for you.

How are you working the thumb with the grading bucket? Do you have the tilt on the bucket unhooked?

it would be cool to have an A/B button to change where the hydraulic goes ( thumb or tilt ) but it looked unhooked for the short time he used it that way.

Pile it up with some cow shit and the ash from the burn pule for a year or two, let the wood break down, mix it up nice and homogenous, and sure.

with that grade almost flat water lays in a spot and pests will find that perfect ,the small flying blood sucker bugs mostly .Is it just me or is it a really bad idea to surround yourself with such a breeding ground. What would it take to make the water run away to a pond or basin?

My dad is passed away now for several years and I find it I am more like him all the time and wanting to know everything that's none of my business that used to make me so mad about him and here I've turned into him lol thanks for all your content and all the time that you take in order to video it I know when you're working like when I was doing what you're doing it's go go go I don't know how you find time or take time to video stuff the pressure getting it done I could never get past that the minute my butt would hit the seat of a tractor my adrenaline started to pump and I was Balls to the walls to get the work done LOL thank you Chris watch you for since I retired about 7 years ago I could sit there all day and watch you bailed her I just love it reminds me of me sitting on the seat listen to the motor Roar thanks Chris
