Chris since since it seems that you come across a lot of trees taking them out cut them up etc... you might consider getting some type of a small tractors something with a chainsaw attachment type thing there's a lot of stuff out there I believe might save you some time be a lot quicker because they just buzzed right through them trees I don't know it's just a thought? Love your Videos... It really nice to see somebody that knows how to do the job right and is proud of their work I see a lot of trashy work done sometimes and have to wonder how it's allowed but that's life

I know you wish you had more power. Try putting a frost ripper hook on the excavator. It multiplies the force by focusing it in a much smaller area. It will pop those roots like cat tails. Not to mention you wont tear up your bucket pins and. Bushings. As well as the bucket linkage as much or nearly as fast. Might I suggest showtime fabrication to custom build your ripper hook or your next Hydraulic thumb. He build amazing high quality excavator stuff its as tough as nails and he takes great pride in his work. Look him up. You'll be glad you did.

It looks as if you always have a plan... one that often changes due to conditions the best way.. keep up you explanations it allows the rest of us to get and have “that’s why he did X Y or Z” moments of realisation.
