@17:12 that’s a great example of the strength of the machine and the talent of the operator! That was a good size tree and it seemed to not take much effort to uproot it. That’s why I enjoy your videos. You use the machine like it’s should be and to its potential! 💪🏻

Heck it looks better already! For ages the lowly excavator was destined to only dig holes until the advent of the mechanical thumb. It has now been transformed into so much more! It can rip fences out, tear down structures, pick up and place things with surgical precision, pluck wayward trees from a shoreline like pulling bad teeth and if the operator knows what he is doing it can really do amazing things. Yessir buddy the mechanical thumb can surely be a blessing in the hands of someone who knows how to use it. Thought I would throw that little parody in there. Were it me as the owner I would have marked the trees beforehand so you would know what to take out. Boy I wish I had you here in Georgia cause I could keep you busy for a while............

Chris on the drain project , it seems to me it would be better to replace the whole system with new and not as deep as it is now surely it would be faster and cheaper to do that.

at first i thought you were clearing to much but then i thought it would be good to clear it all and have them plant shade trees farther up the bank so the future canopy would cover more land than the water like those trees were.

Chris - Curious as to why you tore out the evergreen trees. Come winter that pond is going to become an ugly hole in the ground, filled with dirty water, surrounded by bunch of naked trees.

I would still like to know how you handle all of the permitting process of working on and around all of these "wetlands". Does the property owner have to supply all of the permits or do you get involved with the DNR of your state?

Maple it's a hardwood unless it's a soft maple tree..lol What kind of maple an do you cut the logs out of most of the big trees removed or shouldn't you cut them for lumber or pallet wood to help pay or offset who ever's cost ?

Pharrell Williams I thinks it’s due to the HP and capacity of the machine. I’m currently in the process of getting a new track loader and if memory serves right the biggest Volvo is about 73hp and the takeuchi has 110

IDK why you killed Maple tree's, and it's brittle because it's so hard if that makes any sense, depending on what type of a maple is it a Norwegian maple is it a hard maple red maple silver maple looks like a regular Norwegian maple to me but I can't tell by the video but Chris I think you took too many trees away from the pond but it looks good
