Cannot understand why you don't have 16000+ likes? Thank you so much for this video. I will now be able to repair some much loved and moth damaged clothing, thanks to your simple and easy stitches demonstration, which all look lovely

Thanks so much for the inspiration! I just learned about visible mending and instantly fell in love. I have a shirt which got some holes on the right side and will try to embellish it with some og these floral designs

I would love to do this but I require more instruction! Beautiful video, I wish you’d kept on naming the stitches you were using so I could look them up. Maybe once I’ve got more experience I will be able to come back to this. ❤️

Satin stitch, Back stich and French knots were three I recognised, just try on a scrap piece now, you can only progress if you start! Take it one step at a time, start and stop the video at every move, and you'll find it works out. Good luck

Am so happy to see these-once again in my life. My Mother, who was a seamstress extraordinary wanted to teach me sewing but at a young age did not have patience for it! I wanted to go outside and play in the wonderful places in my backyard with my friends, be active, be in nature!She showed me how to make a French knot before she died, which I asked her to and she made so many clothes for us, I would not hesitate to even go so far as to call her a Tailor! The most beautiful work! I miss her and wish I had let her teach me! This makes up for some of it. In college, I tried sewing my initial om a pair of blue jeans and it wasn't half bad! But I was happy and the man I loved forever had come to live with me. We could have quiet evenings where he would read or watch tv, maybe we'd listen to miss, and I tried my hand t stitching things ip. I love being domestic. We also loved to go out with friends to some clubs and dance and dance. Then, more good times with good friends. Thank you for this, very much. It was what I needed to see and learn--and other simple sewing things. At least you make it look fairly simple-and I mean that you show very well how to do these! Thank you! ts

Very nice! I would have loved a slower take on the lavender(?) bit. I was really caught with the texture of the stitching on the leaves but i’m very new to sewing and couldn’t tell what you were doing to make it. I could follow along with most of the others as i have practiced some of the stitches from the hand guide i picked up the other day. Did i say i was very new?

This is so lovely! I HAVE TO learn this. I've never embroidered, can anyone tell me if it needs to be a special kind of thread?

This is a little late but you have to use embroidery threat. You can usually buy it in a craft store

I would like to know what gauge needle to choose for what. And what type and size that thread is. And, what the cloth is in the embroidery hoop. It seems a fairly thin fabric and I guess it is an embroidery thread, but would love to know more, if you can help. Such wonderful work. I subscribed to you! Thank you! try

What type of thread is being used please? How do you decide what stitch to cover the hole?
@jgfreer8322 Жыл бұрын
She is using Anchor embroidery thread and the stitch you use depends on which design you choose to embroider, and it’s up to you which of the designs you would like to use. I hope that helps ❤
