@@Benzene42 Mr aromatic hexagon passenger train got tail lamp of red light which is blinking visible upto 1km indicates danger, and the Goods train has an airbrake system and the loco was wag 9hc fit for 110 kmph for sectional speed near the signal and station it may reduced air brakes should apply 15-20 seconds if loco pilot apply the brakes it will Stop 100mts away for emergency brake application...LP and ALP aware of that station master said that he never given the clearance for goods and LP crossed Red signal... totally bumchick story..the fact is SM Given clearance and LP ,ALP gone through finally LP. applied emergency then accident take minor impact instead of major impact...LP rest in peace brave, SM just lied that he not given clearance.....

There is a bright red light behind the last bogie of every train . Being daytime , the goods train locopilot ought to have slowed down his train to 10kmh which he did not , causing their mishap. There is also the role of the Asst locopilot who perhaps was also ignoring the usual drill of speed limits in the event of signal failure.

Firstly you gather the 100% correct information about the incident then only post any such tragedic incident don't just blame anyone. the goods train has received the authority T/A912 as there are signal failure between two station so goods train loco pilot has maitain the speed .. Yup automatic signal route...there are several signals between stations...more than one train can be sent into section...unfortunately made a mistake....you can pass automatic signal in danger after sometime but with speed restriction and look for any dange...may be he is carrying little too much speed..

the Station Master of the Rangapani railway station issued Travel Authority (TA-912) authorising the locopilot of the goods to cross all signals in red. The authority number 4918 clearly stated that “Automatic signaling has failed and you are, hereby, authorised to pass all automatic signals between RNI (Rangapani) station and CAT (Chattar Hat) station. the locopilot would stop for two minutes and then proceed at 15 kmph where the visibility was good and 10 kmph in case the visibility was poor. But as per speedometer analysis approximate speed is around 45KMPH..

Corrections: 1. 15658 was the old number for this train when it used to run between Sealdah and Guwahati. At present there are two Kanchanjungha Express Trains. 13173-13174 : Kanchanjungha Express that runs between Sealdah in West Bengal and Sabroom in Tripura. The train has been extended from Agartala to Sabroom from 16.06.2024. 13175-13176 : Kanchanjungha Express that runs between Sealdah and Silchar. 2. Agartala is not in Assam, it is the state capital of Tripura.

Goods train was given written authority to pass signals at danger as all Automatic Signals were down due to rain and its the clear fault of Controller has given authority via station master to the goods train to pass malfunctioning signals. The only fault of Goods train locopilot was non observation of speed as he was passing malfunctioning auto signals and poor visibility due to rain made this accident more happening than stopping it.

The railway minister should give top priority on safety of passengers rather than speeding up trains when train accidents are increasing day by day.No new faster trains should be introduced unless full safety of passengers are ensured by railways. The railway should give death compensation of ₹ One crore to each passenger & accordingly to injured passengers on seriousness of injury. The railway concessions of Sr. Citizens must be restored immediately. Sr. Citizens are very aggrieved with withdrawal of train fare concessions. BJP got humiliating defeats in Lok Sabha elections due to the mass boycott of BJP by Sr. Citizens. This will continue in the future also. There is no justification of withdrawal when Modi govt is spending several lacs crores on different freebies but train fare concessions were not restored which can be recovered by stopping corruption in railways.

As per Observations of CCRS (Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety), there are many SPAD (Signal passed at Danger = RED) cases in Indian Railways. Sometimes they turned into Accidents but mostly not. This means train movement mostly runs on LUCK or chance or destiny ! Regarding Accident of Kanchanjongha Express, CCRS observed that (during Failure of Automatic Signals), Trains passed at different speed with the same Forms 【 T/369 (3b) and T/B 912 】. All Drivers (Loco Pilots) not followed uniform methods. His further observation is that -- "station master" (no capital letters) should have issued Caution Order (with particular Speed Restriction) to the Driver (of Kanchanjongha Express). But NO mention of G&SR (General and Subsidiary Rules Book -- published by RAILWAY BOARD) particular Chapter and Rule No. from where he has come to this conclusion. This turns out to be a FICTITIOUS observation /conclusion ! This will entail future complexities like Court Cases. Many newer Technologies being introduced in Indian Railways day by day. But G&SR Book (also Block Working Manual -- published by Zonal Railways individually) is not revised accordingly. Staff Training in Zonal Railway Schools is also done in lackadaisical, haphazard and casual manner. No emphasis/special education is given/imparted anywhere regarding FAILURE / ABNORMALITY OF TRAIN MOVEMENT. No clear-cut, unambiguous, thorough discussion is available anywhere. So, floodgate / loopholes is kept wide open for FUTURE dangers/incidents ! Can we not expect further CONCRETE / SOLID recommendations from CCRS ?

Working load very high every loco pilot. 15 to 16hr continue duty work by pilot which is very dengerous for safety. Please 🙏 raise the issu 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏duty hr must be decided 8 hr. Driver working condition is very bad no friendly chair fitted in loco all loco pilot drive train in standing position which is very dengerous for safety.
