I like Michaels botanical information. It adds interest.

Sarah, I had SO MUCH FUN with this. I'm smiling like a little kid. I always enjoy painting with you, but this reminded me of the gouache papaya where you just kind of let go and mess with paint and suddenly something cool happens. THANK YOU! ♥️🙏😄

Stretching works best with cotton paper, also I don't know about double stick tape but if you wet the back of your paper then stick it to a glass surface, then wet the front ,the paper will not move or warp at all. but your painting can be only wet in wet techniques.

What a supportive patient kind interested in YOU husband you have. You are blessed. I saw someone use Micropore paper tape for watercolor edges. I haven’t tried it yet but besides not bleeding, it’s also not supposed to lift paper. AND it’s inexpensive. This was a tip from a nurse. 😉

Vibrant colors and clear instruction! Love it. What paper are you using? The weight and content of the paper affect the curling and absorbency. I noticed when you intentionally allow color to flow, it isn’t flowing and blending as much as on say, Arches 140 or 300#. It’s drying too quickly. This creates more of a challenge for the artist to create the intended affect. The type of paint may be affecting flow also. I’m not familiar with your paint. I do enjoy your videos and your style.

Hi Lisa! This is our new store brand paper. It is cold press 130 lb. paper. Sarah is using liquid watercolors which can react differently as well, another difference is the amount of water used, and the humidity in your area. There is no one exact answer but instead a fun experiment to find exactly what works for you with your projects.

It sounds like the Dandelion paint is dye based rather than pigment based. Is this true? The blue you are using is a vibrant color and makes a striking background. The honey brown might give a more desert-y feeling.

yes- dandelion liquid watercolors are dye based.

Prickly pear makes yummy soda. Squeeze the ears. Add carbonated water and a little sweetener and there you go.

I don't think it looks funny... Because I can see it. I can't see the how to instructions. Too light. Can you use a seperate paper to show how to draw it with darker pencil or pen?
