It is calm and feels like floating. It a little chilly but not bad because of the flame heating the air in the balloon. It is great fun!

Keenan, I love the one with you and your daughter. Man I sure do miss hugging and playing with the babies from church. They’re liquid joy! I was supposed to leave my wedding recetion from a hot air balloon. It rained so we couldnt :( BUT we did take that ride on the balloon a few months later. It was fantastic. It was early in the morning , chilly not cold and not windy up there at all. We could feel th e"mist" as we flew through a cloud!! Birds flew by....it was awesome

About having to work quickly, what I've found is that working on smaller sized drawings can be a bit easier. So if the larger 9x12 form becomes frustrating because your paint dries too quickly for your skill, print out a reduced sized drawing and paint that.

Pretty sure 🤔, that if segments are an uneven number, you will always end with color you started!🙂 (Which probably fairly obvious to everybody else, but I ALWAYS forget that and, then end up counting them anyway!🥴)… …I Love pictures of hot air balloons, (and especially getting a surprise every once in awhile, as I look up and see one coming across, the horizon!…so pretty Almost as fun, but not quite as spotting the first rainbow, as a child and even at 70! (Nature is so beautiful, when it just pops up there, no man made machines etc.)🤓👍

Hot air balloons are wonderful. Several years ago my husband and I went up in one on a beautiful early evening - sun not yet setting - over San Diego. There were 6 of us plus the pilot. I did not know what to expect but it was smooth, QUIET (except for the noise when the pilot sent more heat into the balloon). There was no wind, it was serene. While in the air, one couple got engaged! After landing, we went back to the "shop" for a celebratory glass of champagne. I must say, I would do it all over again and if you get the chance - go!!!

Invest in a cheap compass. It has a point on one side and a prncil on the other. Maybe you remember them from math class…? They’re available at any dollar store.

Thanks for this beautiful and fun tutorial. I have Sennelier pan set, but the set doesn’t label any of the blues, red or yellow as “primary”. Can you please suggest what colors would be comparable? Eg, lemon yellow, yellow ocher, Indian yellow, Naples yellow? Having so many yellows to choose from it’s both a blessing 😇 and a curse 🤯. Thanks 😊

Looking at the Sennelier color charts on google Lemon Yellow looks to be a great one to substitute. You can always play with your colors and mix the shades you prefer. Making your project your own is always encouraged.

KZbin has been increasingly pushing more and more ads into creator's videos in order to make more money. I don't think it is something LMA can control.

This is a new push by KZbin to insert ads whether the channel owner wants them or not. Another watercolor tutorial channel that I follow is going to leave KZbin for this very reason. She has enough subscribers that she could make some decent money from having ads but did not want her tutorials to be interrupted by ads. So she opted out of KZbin’s ad program. KZbin told her they were going to insert the ads anyway and she just wouldn’t benefit financially from them.

I just cannot tape my work down. I did try it. It droves me bonkers. I move my paper around constantly while I paint lol

This is a great point! One solution to this is to tape it to a board that will be able to move around but still give you some stability and help keep the paper from warping.
