I worked in the Soil lab for the Forestry dept as a workstudy student at the University of Washington in Seattle in the 1980s. Our project was to study mycorrhizal fungi by going to Mount Rainier and getting soil samples and collecting data on them. Talk about a wonderful job - getting paid to hike! We were told originally that people thought mycorrhizal fungi was destructive and regarded as a parasite to the root system of plants and they tried to kill it and ended up killing the roots too. Finally they realized that it was a symbiotic relationship between mycorrhizal fungi and plants’ roots and it increased surface area which lead to a healthier soil. Thanks for bringing back happy memories :) And your watercolor demonstations are always fun to watch and so helpful!

Beautiful job. I wet the back and the front of the paper, then paint. When you let it dry, it will be perfectly flat. Giving trees, that is an awesome fact to know. Thanks for the video!

Drink ginger tea with honey and lemon. Use fresh ginger, boil for 10 min and seep for 10 min. This will help clear the congestion.
