For the food additions. Gluttonous Goo: A ferricore tier goo block that coverts pumpkins or Melons placed next to it into nodes of solid Nutritional slime, which restore 8 points of hunger and 20 points of saturation when eaten. Goo Bottle: A blazegold tier item that is crafted with a Gluttonous goo. Food Items can be fed to it like the fuel Canister, and it subtracts 2 from their hunger and saturation value then stores the rest. This saves inventory space and allows for food not to be wasted, but discourages using easy to mass produce food sources like potatoes so that you still set up at least some food processing.

I could see an addon for food items, like making a block of chicken or steak and turning it into some goo version which gives better saturation and feeds more the higher tier it is. Maybe even have some food buffs at each tier to improve it. The highest tier would fill up the hunger and saturation to the max, plus add something like absorption, while the base tier would do like 3 of each, but add strength, or something, the second tier could add fire resist, the third tier could add maybe levitation or something ender related... making a food item block for it could be a shapeless item that uses 9 of any food to make.

Jumbo Furnace is a good choice, because it can queue up many items even if different types, and same for fuel. Best is that it only requires cobblestone to build. Craft 27 normal furnaces and place in a 3 x 3 x 3 cube to make the multi-block structure. I recommend digging down to place it so it becomes part of your floor. Very convenient. UPDATE: 65X speed if you upgrade by "cooking" 64 x 27 furnaces in a Jumbo Furnace. That's cooking a stack in the same time a single item! (I tried it and it works)
@robertpickel24472 ай бұрын
It’s not horrible but it’s not really fast than a regular furnace and some hoppers
@erikjohnson91122 ай бұрын
@@robertpickel2447 I agree. It is very easy to use as long as you aren't impatient. It is also composed of only cobble stone so you can make it early. I think there might be upgrades, but I have not looked into it yet. I have it as the floor 3 x 3 right inside the door to my starter base. It will probably be ignored once I advance a bit, but at least it only cost some cobble.
@erikjohnson91122 ай бұрын
You can make the furnace work in parallel by embedding JFs (Jumbo Furnaces) inside other JFs. Shears can reduce the multiblock to an item which you place in that single slot below the output section. You can also supposedly cook 27 furnaces into a JF item (so you don't have to build every one you want to embed).

your mod already has the goo types in it for crafting, for the food item you could have something similar to the coal item that stores fuel, but instead it would be a living goo/slime kind of deal, that you can feed food items (which grows the being) and then you can eat the being. the nutrition could average out between the food items you fed it, and food variety could give bonus saturation or whatever. does it sound OP? maybe. but at the same time, you could create a potato farm and have baked potato forever, so there's not much of a benefit, other than QoL. as a side effect maybe it could bite back sometimes lol

I think for the expense of setting up the farm (use of iron and gold especially since you only get 1/3 - 1/2 of the amount you put in) makes the speed of the farm fair.
@scottchristofersen23672 ай бұрын
I don’t think the farmland needs nerfing as there are lots of even faster methods of growing stuff. The nether wort and sugar cane probably need a buff if anything if possible.
@Deveyus2 ай бұрын
It takes 31 minutes on average for a single wheat crop to grow, assuming a full field and discounting some other inefficiencies, we can simply round to 30 minutes per crop, however if you have 81 spaces of crops, this works out to one crop every 22.2 (we'll call it 22) seconds. Now, most players don't sit there harvesting as soon as the crops are ready so if we presume they come by every hour or so and harvest, they should see 81 wheat per hour or so. However, if you're autoharvesting and collecting as fast as it grows, the math shows you'll get 162 wheat an hour. This means that just autoharvesting is already a doubling of crop income, and then the soil makes it faster yet? This seems... hefty.

Netherwart is naturally slow. It might have something to do with not planting it on soul soil causing it to be this slow because it grows faster on soul sand. So unless you want to add something like being able to till soul sand with your modded hoe it will continue to do so. Maybe you haven't added netherwart to be effected by the growth tic acceleration. Netherwart doesnt respond to bonemeal, so if you modded it where it applies a bonemeal effect that might be causing the slowness as well. It is also slow because you only have 3 planted instead of 9 so it seems a lot slower than the other crops. I havent played vanilla MC since before Microsoft bought it either so I could be completely outdated in my information.

Dire some of the carrots were popping on and falling outside the collector area and getting voided. Also on your coals the blaze tier a single coal smelts 72 items and to get it I think you would need 3 blocks of coal in order to get one blaze coal. A block of coal is 9 coal which each coal smelts 8 items, and 8x9=72 and 72x3=216 (though blocks of coal smelt more, I think its like as if you had 10 coal so 80x3=240). So is it only better when using your fuel canister or just within your mod with the burn multiplier?
@ockerspock34322 ай бұрын
the mechanic is THREE to FOUR drops per transformation your calculations disregard the FOUR chance. Transforming 6 blocks (54 coal) will return minimum 18 blaze coal (6x3) and a maximum 24 (6x4) averaging 21 or 3.5 per block. My testing using 36 coal blocks returned 3.43 average. The benefit does seem minimal considering the time & effort (it might be automatable) but 3.5 x 72 = 252 is the calculated average
@MrDarkDragone2 ай бұрын
@@ockerspock3432 Yes they do disregard that as it is only 3 to 4 even if you were lucky enough to always get 4 you would still need 3 blocks of coal to make one blaze. Even if each one was to come out 4 I think you would only be able to make an extra block after 9?
