I love to imagine if Michael never died, he would've tried to mine the tower with a wood or stone pickaxe. I think it was still around the time where he barely knew how to even play, let alone actually know what iron looks like, knows where to find it, knows how to mine it, and then know how to smelt it. Orchideenblut x Well they were accelerating the process, because the moment Ray got all the diamond stuff, he had won--the moment anyone got the tower he would have just murdered them. Plus, the whole "hot and cold" thing was pretty hilarious. That and remember, it's not just about us, surely they don't want to spend loads of time just sitting about while Gavin looks for iron and is repeatedly killed... it was good that they didn't let it go on too long before the someone found it and the game started up again.
