I'm not sure which is funnier: the idea that this goose is able to plan all these acts (and is just good at strategy), and it's up to the player to figure them out; that the goose, like the player, has to work out what to do, but is sure of what the end goal is (like trapping a kid in a phone booth) and is set on making those schemes happen; or that the goose is receiving mission objectives from some unknown entity (probably Satan).

Though they figured it out, but for clarification...to get the man's slippers, it depended on what he was doing. While he is reading his newspaper, he has his left foot raised, making it easy to get the left slipper. While he is drinking his tea, he has his right foot raises, making it easy to get the right slipper. So you basically have to wait for him to do one or the other in order to get that slipper. The lady as a hole in her fence on the back left corner of her property near her house. After you make her snip the rose, she goes and removes the piece of wood blocking the hole, to make a "No goose" sign and thus opens the next area to you.
