FINALLY someone in one of these stories calls the cops. It drives me nuts how so many in these stories endanger other people just because they don't want to call the cops for whatever reason. That guy in the first story might have saved someone's life.

@Festina_Lente I hope you're not so dumb as to believe that all of these stories are fake. 🤣🤷
@ShepardDrake3 жыл бұрын
@Festina_Lente they aren't ALL fake dude. Clearly the paranormal ones are and I'm sure a decent amount of the others are too, but I'm sure there's also plenty real ones. I don't understand why you feel superior for believing that *none* of them are true, that just seems silly to me. 🤷
@ShepardDrake3 жыл бұрын
@Festina_Lente it has nothing to do with whether people are being honest when using the word "true" to describe these stories. Statistically speaking, with the amount of stories read and the fact that many of them are perfectly realistic and possible things, it just doesn't make sense to say they are all fake. Stuff like this *does* happen sometimes, whether you want to believe it or not.

The story about the group that went to the hot springs in Utah was terrifying. It really sounds as if the weird guy was looking for a weapon in his bag. I think he went out to that remote area that night, with the intention of hurting, or killing someone.
@Sunshine_Daydream2223 жыл бұрын
It's weird to me people hike that far without weaponry, at least bring a knife if you need it, sheesh. A hatchet and a knife while hiking/camping should probably be mandatory these days... What about predators others than humans? You're just going to hope that mountain lion isn't too hungry today? Oi...

Ive been there many times. its highly populated with families and really not that far out. Ive never been on that trail and not ran into someone, even at night. Their description is very exagerated lol, its an intermediate hike at most, little kids hike it all the time.

Story 8, was maybe obviously written by someone not native English-speaking or maybe it was done through a translation of their original story in their language, but damn. I really enjoyed how it was worded. It just sounded so much more intelligent and colourful, if that makes any sense? I dunno, it’s like when listening to a non-English native speaking English but the mannerisms in their speech and wording is a little different, I just love hearing their take on the language. I can’t really explain it. Like when I watch ASMR, I love Korean channels that sometimes speak English. It’s so bloody captivating to me.

A couple of years ago( I was 25 at that time but looked no older than 19 since I never really hit puberty ) this guy knocked on my door and offered to cut the yard for me. I kindly declined because my husband takes care of that so there was no need. I work from home so I’m alone most of the day until my husband gets home from work in the evenings. Any way I closed the door and locked it for some reason even though I usually didn’t... I went to my back door and let my pitbull in since it was starting to get really hot out and went back to my work room. About an hour later my dog went crazy barking. His bark is SO loud and scary it always startles me on the rare occasions when he does it. Following his barks I hear a loud crash coming from the front of the house so I quickly I go over to check it out. I see the same guy that was at our house earlier running away from the yard looking back clearly shaken up and in a hurry. Something I noticed is that he was not wearing the shorts and sneakers from the first time I saw him earlier. Instead he had changed into some sort of overalls with big black boots that came up to his shins, and a back pack. I found it odd that he came back after I had declined his lawn services. I opened the front door when I had lost sight of him down the street and found my pot (that sat I front of the front window) shattered on the ground. When my husband came home I told him about the weird incident and didn’t think much of it. We stayed up watching movies that night when around 10:30pm there was a knock at the front door. My husband gets up to answer it and I stay laying on the couch. Lo and behold it’s the same guy from earlier. He doesn’t say anything but looks past my husband and makes eye contact with me for what seemed like forever but it was probably a couple of seconds. My husband asks again what he needed but this time there was no hint of patience left in his voice. The guy mumbles something about needing a smoke and my husband answers him that there is nothing for him here and tells him not to come back or else. The guy quickly backs away and leaves.... we did call the cops but there was nothing they could do since technically there was no crime. We never saw him again but I wondered what could of happened had I left that front door unlocked like I always did.
