She says she’s in New York, are we to assume the street is jammed packed with pedestrians, that body slamming another person is a common occurrence? So common that you can body slam the same person numerous times and make it seem unintentional?

I was at a laundromat Easter of '22. The dryer i chose didn't heat up & I'm ransacking my car for 1 more quarter (flat broke). I see a male 2 houses away, thgt he looked 50ish. 1 house away i see I'm wrong, he's 26-35 & i have a bad feeling. When he gets up close I try to ignore but he's watching. When i sneak a glance he's waiting & sez a tired ol line, but w strange inflection & overly enunciated. He's staring a hole thru me w a weird smile. W a slight guffaw & wtf look, i say 'fuk outta here'. When he doesn't move i look at him & I've nvr felt THAT b4. I've met hundreds of creeps, shady, dangerous, unwell ppl. But 1 look & i had a calm, cold weight in my gut; I'm not his usual, but i will do. He just wants to see the light go out. I'm a fat, middle aged female smoker; he's apprx 28 & I wouldn't stand a chance. He's passing me by & my bitch ass better be grateful cuz he didn't have to. I'm frozen in the moment. I sensed his danger b4 i could clearly see his face. I don't want to die on the filthy floor of some shithol laundry. And no, i wouldn't have a ghost of a chance against him. All this was communicated in a 2-3 second glance. He walks away. I thaw, panic a little, jump in the car & just leave. Fuk that laundry! I spent the rest of the week looking over my shoulder. It took about 2 mos to come down from the encounter. I fervently hope i never see that man again. That was the scariest person I've ever encountered.
