Having experienced the same thing, also losing my tube, I kept telling you how I conceived and how the tube on the opposite side could also catch the egg, which also happened to me. I remember being unsure of I should share those comments, worried if you didn't have the same experience I did they could be hurtful. I'm so very happy you did and that it happened so quickly for you. 💗👪💗

I think your taking a break from fertility help helped too. I've heard of a number of folks that take breaks or end up adopting, end up pregnant on their own. I'm so glad things worked out for you.

I’m so happy for you ❤️ I had the same, I lost an ovary and a fallopian tube, and was lucky enough to fall pregnant. I fell pregnant with twins, we didn’t know at the time, I was told I was losing the next baby, and had a ruptured cyst on my remaining ovary. I was so blessed that a second baby was hiding and he’s now 21. So there’s definitely hope ❤️🙏 I was told I had a 33% chance of conceiving naturally. So please don’t lose hope if you’re in this difficult situation right now. Love to anyone struggling, while reading this ❤️❤️❤️ xx

@@LetsTalkIBD Thank you so much, and I’m so happy that you will become Mama to your little Princess. I think the loss makes us appreciate every second so much more. 🥹❤️ I wasn’t able to have any more after that, and they made my hubby have a vasectomy as they said I’d die if I fell pregnant again. I’d had so much more loss than the two mentioned. So he had the snip just a few days later. I then had to go on and have a radical hysterectomy age 31 too, so I felt a bit bad for him. I also have an ostomy now, but not while pregnant. So that part is really interesting 💕 to see that it’s not really affecting the pregnancy. I just had a 4 month hospital stay, sepsis x2, and honestly, to come out and see you pregnant gave me a few happy tears. I seen the pain you went through, so it was so lovely to see you so emotional, with your baby in your belly. I can’t wait to see you with your baby in your arms, then all the fur babies who will love her so much too. 🥰❤️ xxx

You never forget your losses and wonder what would they have been like had they lived. There will always be an empty space at the table. It gets easier to live with over time, but you never forget, but you have the joy of a baby coming into your life and that is exciting.

Thanks for sharing your story. ❤️ I had an ectopic in October, after the medication for treatment my RE said I have to wait 3 months to try again. We decided to try IVF because I’m 37 and have low AMH. Everything about this journey has been hard but your pregnancy news gives me some hope. Thank you again for sharing! Best wishes with the rest of your pregnancy! ❤️

Maggie, you are a delight to watch and I am so incredibly thrilled that you and Zac will be parents! What a journey you’re been on, not just all the medical issues and surgeries related to the Crohn’s, but the heartbreaking ectopic pregnancy. I don’t know enough about ectopic pregnancies to understand what you went through and why, but to this layperson it sure seems like something was missed medically speaking, that you had to go through such trauma and devastation. Perhaps I’m wrong, and it just was what it was. But that’s all water under the bridge, and pretty soon you’ll be cradling a precious little one, and that will be amazing! I hope you are able to continue with your online presence, because I know you provide a great service to those individuals who have ostomies. All the very best for the remainder of your pregnancy. Sending love from Texas, Shari M

Thank you for sharing your journey to being a mum, it's not always easy, I miscarried 6 times, it's a difficult situation to live with, even now at 61, with 2 grown children, if I think about it I cry. I keep thinking about what you said about your ectopic helping your body “learn what to do” in order for your current pregnancy to happen 🥹 I just want to tell you what an encouragement that has been! Such a positive way to look at it. My husband and I are ttc and I’ve been telling myself “even if we fail, each try is helping my body ‘calibrate’” haha. Here’s to hoping that attitude helps!! 😄

I don't think that "time heals all wounds". I think time allows us to heal physically, but the emotional part just gradually fades. A lost pregnancy is so much a mental part of us that it can take some, years to be able to talk about it without breaking down. I didn't speak of my miscarriage for over 10 years.

Speaking of c-sections, if by chance you end up with one stay on top of your meds and have an extra pair of hands. Besides Zac. You’ll both be exhausted and you will be in pain. Hopefully it’s the old fashioned way for you! But if it happens that’s my advice from someone who had a c-section. I loved this video, life works, God works, whatever it is works in mysterious ways! So, so happy for you!❤❤❤❤

Oh girl your story is so similar to mine. I lost 6 babies before my little girl was born. I had to take 4 shots a day in my tummy. Progesterone inserts and then weekly shots. My tummy was black & blue. I wore my Saint Gerard Medallion too. I went through so much. But it's all worth it... Being preggers is wonderful. I'm just so happy for you...

I had a miscarriage at 17 with a baby I definitely didn't plan on or want at that stage, and even though I knew I wasn't ready I still mourn that baby. The father of that baby and I are still friends and we both still sometimes say, "Our baby would be this old now" And it's so odd to think how different life would be had they came. I have an earthside child now who is 7 and I know he wouldn't be here and it's so strange to think about

Same bleeding happened to me. So heavy and I was unaware that I had an ectopic pregnancy. Then the pain set in. Felt like a large knife twisting in my side. That sent me to the doctor and the rest is history. Lost my left tube. Went on to have two children with no problem! Childbirth was no comparison to the pain the ectopic pregnancy produced. ❤

I was 21 when I found out I had a huge melon sized cyst on my right ovary that was twisting and moving from side to side causing extreme off and on pain and my dad found it because no one else could figure it out until he pointed it out. My dad is a hospitalist and almost went into OB years ago. I was minutes from it bursting and, after surgery I found out they had to remove my right Fallopian tube and my right ovary. I have autism and have always wanted kids so, I hope it doesn’t cause infertility in the future but, I’ve gotten mixed answers. We’ll see!

21:36 I lost a baby because of ectopic. My cousin lost an ectopic and then two more ectopics that each took a tube. With my loss, my left ovary had also twisted and adhered itself to my abdomen wall due to stage three endometriosis. If it hadn’t been for the fact that I knew I was losing my baby I would have lost my ovary and the fallopian tube. I do think of my baby often in fact, yesterday was eight years. I purposely paused the video to make this message so I don’t know what happens yet but you mentioned how you have a C-section scar. You do have a C-section scar. Your baby was medically removed from your body. (please note I do not mean this in a mean way or anything, you medically gave birth to your baby just as I did mine. They were here but for a moment, but we have scars to show that they were here.)

You are very fertile after a pregnancy or while/stopping nursing. While getting back to a normal cycle, your body often releases multiple eggs. More chance of one being fertilized and increased chance of fraternal multiples if more are fertilized. We conceived fraternal twins conceiving just 2 months after our son. Had three baby boys in 11 months lol. It is the same reason having fraternal multiples are sometimes genetic just on the maternal side. If your mom or grandma releases multiple eggs, you are more likely too. There is no genetic connection on the paternal side, and identical twins are never genetic. My husband was an identical twin, and that not genetic or a factor at all in our twins at all, but most don't understand that, incorrectly thinking we must have had twins because he's a twin.
