This was an amazing story, the excitement was pretty scary there toward the end. You know Darcy is coming to the rescue so not toooo much angst. What a great plot. It had been awhile since I had read or listened to it so I had forgotten how it progressed, and I was all in for the 'Yikes! and Oh No!' when, well, you know. I don't want to spoil it for someone else. I loved Lord and Lady Matlock in this tale. And I hated the bad guys sooooo much. Thank you for bringing these stories to KZbin. I love listening to them on this format while I'm doing other things (can't read though,) on my computer.

I am thinking I would have told them that they were going to have to kill me because I would never let Collins touch me. The other option would be to convince the two idiots that Darcy would not be marrying her, but she would rather die or live alone than marry either one of them. Also, with everyone at the inn she could put up a fight because he couldn't very well kill everyone. The two men would more likely have run at that point rather than shoot her.
