I am from near Letterkenny in Donegal, Ireland. Its amazing the accent in the "Letterkenny" series, is so clear and large parts of the accent 100% Donegal and Sligo (Ireland) accent.

Well, the earliest settlers of Ontario were Scottish or Irish immigrants. We've definitely held on to some of the accent. It gets thicker the more we drink 🍻

Australia and Canada have a very similar sense of humour. Good old commonwealth... US humour is forced, or just toilet humour. AU & CA takes it's cues more from UK humour. You have to think about it a bit more. And there's less laugh track.

I think it's a work in progress at the moment, Keeso (actor and co-creater) is aware of the fanbase in the States as I'm sure Crave TV and Comedy Central are too.

I hope so. They have a hell of a show. And including myself, there are a ton of hockey players down here that love them on KZbin. But the quality sucks. Keeso is amazing. Wayne and Daryl are historic characters. Even when they did the Calgary Flames fans. They have an amazing chemistry.

Lol as a Canadian born and raised exactly from the area this show is about I can say that's bullshit! Rural Ontario is pretty spot on to Southern USA in terms of uneducated assholes. Theres many american southerners with just as high an education as the rest. I tell a guy Toby Keith is Pop Country and he tries to put his fist into my face. Thats in Canada. Racism is just as heavy if not worse because we have more of a variety of different cultures and skin colors so you get the good ol' farm boys yelling horrible shit at them and chasing them out of town. I've witnessed this many times unfortunately. If 2016 has proven anything to us, it's that the entire world has brain cell deficiency.
