Well I'm 65 and had a Yamaha ypt 300 sitting in the back room for years and I never played anything in my life but now that I got the Yamaha working I have it in my head to learn Hallelujah...lol I'll been watch this a million times to learn this by you so I can play it Christmas and after that who cares ...lol..thank you so much for the post...Gary

I turn 70 on October bought a Yamaha e453 and from there to your lessons I'm getting there slow but sure.But I'm sure enjoying your lessons. My question is what instrument is your keyboard set to for Hallelujah.

It's a Piano Pad setting ... a Piano setting with some extra reverb. A similar sound on your Yamaha should be # 10 or #17.

I sent the notes for the intro part and the main song. You can play them on your trumpet. If you play them with piano or orchestra instruments I need to take them all up one step. If trumpet by itself ... the notes should be fine :)

For now - gonna give you that opening Bum, bum, bum intro: A C# E G# F# E C# A B D F# A G# - low E - A C# E G# F# E C# A B D F# A G# - ... Mr. Sandman vocal starts off E F# G# F# ... but don't know if I can do justice to their harmonies ... have to see what I can do with it :)
