This podcast is amazing. Throughout the episodes I screamed at each denial and rejection of a hearing, new trial etc. Blatant wrong doing…prosecutors and judges just refused to admit the horrific injustice that was done to JJ. JJ is such a strong person and I admire him so so much. Dan-I have no words for your devotion to JJ. I am so moved by this podcast and I am now trying to figure out how I can help. I sobbed for JJ’s mom. My love goes out to all of you.❤❤❤

The courts didn't exonerate JJ because it would give him the ability to sue them for a wrongful conviction.

Amazing podcast. When JJ said “the system we’re up against is… dark, it’s ugly but it’s powerful…” and he goes on to say what they can do by telling it like it is from their side, “I can withhold evidence from you, I can violate the law, I can change what you’re described as, I can change your race, I can change any fact, I can change whatever I want and when I put it on paper, that’s the truth - that type of power is very Dangerous.” He hit the nail right on the head.

Every time I come here to listen, I cry inside 😢. I am praying for J.J. to be exonerated, then he will be completely free. I'm hoping the real guy will be thorughly investigated, charged, and bought to court since two lady friends of his signed an affidavit stating that he talked with them about his crime actually stating that he shot Ward to death. And his partner- in- crime's, father described him as the young man who came to his house to visit his son. I don't believe God starts anything and does not finish it. By His grace J.J. got this far and God is not finished with his situation yet.

I have never have been naive to the injustices of our “system”, ours as if belongs to the people it very much does NOT. Think about the amount of power we give to these people. The justice system we have is unlike any other and it can work when practiced by honorable people but they get it wrong way too many times. I was elated listening to episode 7 to hear them tell JJ he’s going home tears of joy & heartbreak for a person I’ve never even met. And his Mother is such an incredibly strong woman God Bless all of you can’t wait to see what JJ has in store for this world!!! 🥹❤️👏
