"I do not do anything merely." No Maggie, you didn't. Thank you so very much! ❤

what a horrible shame and loss that for so many years they've stopped doing scenes from plays on the Tonys. Even if they bring it back, which I hope every year they will, it won't help the absurd number of brilliant and iconic scenes and performances that we could have been given a glimpse of and recorded a bit of for posterity. Beyond that how do you sell tickets to plays from the Tonys other than from it winning awards or having already famous people in them? Damn you, Tonys producers.

I was lucky enough to see this on Broadway. Amazing performances from both of them. RIP, Maggie Smith!

This is the only play in which I had the opportunity to see Maggie Smith - and the brilliant Margaret Tyzack. Why, oh why, did someone not record this entire performance. The play is delightful from start to finish - just as delightful as this scene.

I saw this brilliant production in London before its transfer to Broadway. The great Maggie Smith just blew me away but she was ably supported by Margaret Tyzack. Both deserved their awards 100%. I wish the entire show was available.

An unforgettable joy; some folk are who they are for a reason. Saw this on B'way, total pandemonium of an audience losing it's mind with joy.

Two incredibly, superbly talented actresses, one brilliant playwright and one clever director. Oh, how I wish I could see it live, the entire play.

The curtain call at the performance I saw was seismic. I thought the roof would come off the Barrymore. Thanks Maggie Smith. Be at peace.

We will not see the likes of either Maggie Smith or Margaret Tyzack again. What we have now is mostly mediocrity.
