I don't know why I didn't watch this video sooner. Earlier this year, I went through the hardest breakup ever. It was my longest relationship. Immediately after the breakup, I packed up all of the things he got for me over the course of the 5 years and put it in a trash bag and placed it in my closet. Weeks after the breakup the topic of us getting back together in the future was brought up. For some reason, I held on to that. It made me feel safe. It made the breakup a little less harsh. But as time went on, he moved on as well. The idea of us getting back together slimmed down. I got busy (as a coping mechanism and I need money to pay bills, etc) and I forgot all about the garbage bag of stuff. The days that I had to go into my closet, I looked at the bag. I would talk to friends, family and they all told me to keep it. I wanted to keep it because that's all I had left of him. I convinced myself that if I kept it, we will get back together. Finally, I just said "fuck it" and burned the bag of stuff. It was 8 months after the breakup that I finally got rid of it. I'm so glad I did. I had no idea that that bag being in my closet kept me from prospering, moving on, etc. This video just solidified it even more. Thank you.
