Attention Arabic speakers: (All dialects are welcome!) I'm looking for Arabic speakers. Please help me translate and record the following: Numbers 1-10 Short Story: Part 1: The North Wind and the Sun were disputing which was the stronger when a traveler came along wrapped in a warm cloak. They agreed that the one who first succeeded in making the traveler take his cloak off should be considered stronger than the other. Part 2: Then the North Wind blew as hard as he could, but the more he blew, the more closely did the traveler fold his cloak around him; and at last, the North Wind gave up the attempt. Part 3: Then the Sun shone out warmly, and immediately the traveler took off his coat. So the North Wind was obliged to confess that the Sun was the stronger of the two. Submit it to this email: otipeps24@gmail.com

What make these your favourite dialects of Arabic?
@Otaku_Loaf Жыл бұрын
@@aitokoojii1462 The fact that from what I’ve heard and studied, the Levantine dialects are very close to Quranic Arabic. I tend to gravitate towards the more old-school dialects as in I tend to like the dialects that use more old-fashioned words and stick closely to their roots rather than diverge. That’s also why I like the Sudanese dialect as it also seems to be a bit more old-fashioned. That’s not to say that the dialects that diverge are bad, they’re all great imo it’s just that I tend to have a preference towards the more old-school dialects

@LazieKat Жыл бұрын
What do you write the words different if they are pronounced the same? Like "stti" and "sette", it's obviously wrong. The sample texts also are not translated exactly the same, the Arabic texts sound different because they have different meanings or structure that is not attributed to the dialect.

The more Arabic dialect is from the east and the levant, the more accent is « aramaic », the more it’s southern the more it’s sound « sabaic » ( which is the purest arabic ). And The more it’s western the more it has canaanites, coptics, and amazigh influences.
@iberius99375 ай бұрын
Is there any linguistic/philological basis to this statement? Now you got me intrigued.
@simeoneutras20975 ай бұрын
@@iberius9937 The evidence is just by traveling. When you listen the western medias propagandists, a moroccan is the same than an iraqi, when themselves knows the truth and will never make such fast alike statements between their own european countries and history. The Arab/Islamic Conquest that happened since the 7th-8th century, defeating the byzantines and the persians empires, like all the previous empires, mostly embrigaded each people and neighboors to their empire, but people everytimes speaks like the Romans, the Greeks, the Persians and the Arabs tooked the place of everyone in all these areas lol, it was always in a linguistical system and scientifical concerned only way, and mostly the elite. Even egyptians were persians citizens significative times, it's never a replacment of population, it's always an elite embrigadment, that's all. They even spreaded much less bloods than the previous empires ones + the fact that the Arabian Peninsula never was densely populated comparing to Egypt and the Levant, at least 10 times lower !!!! lol Most of Levantine people are Aramaic/Canaanites descendants ( and parts of arabians tribes mostly the northern arabians ones are related to their Ishmaelites Ancestors ). Most of Maghrebis and Egyptians people are Coptics and Berbers descendants. And Most of Arabian Peninsular's People are from Sabaic ancestry ( the pure arabs, or also called ancient arabs, they're related to their ancient aramaics cousins groups that fled the arabian peninsula probably during its desertification very much time befores, while an other group remained and got mostly at the southern mountains chains, sabaean people, mostly yemenis/omanis ancestry also called Ancient Arabs who are the descendants of the Aadites and Thamudites during the oldest archaic period ). The evidence is also scientific : Eupedia.com and historic : Herodote.net There are arabians descendants and tribes outside the arabian peninsula still to this day, but since the start of their history they've always been a minority comparing to their each indigenous close neighboors relatives and most of them got absorbed by their neighboors. The arabic language system was spreaded but in terms of men it was much more the other way around. Everyone at least minimum cultivated about his history and ancestors in the arab world will pinpoint you the purest " arabs " directly at the Yemeni/Omani People. The average genetic composition of each arabic people from the west to the east is prooving my point again.
