Against the Sturdy + Berry Juice combo, your first multi-hit move needs to hit three times to defeat that Pokémon in one turn. Most multi-hit moves could fall short by hitting only twice. Triple Kick, Triple Axel, Surging Strikes, and Battle Bond Water Shuriken are the only truly reliable counters for those guys unless you've brought Skill Link, Mold Breaker and friends, or damaging hazards

Imagine how many hours these youtubers spend playing this game, losing match after match after match, before the yfinally get their 3 wins a week to put on youtube lol. And then, imagine the amount of breeding and time that goes into making all these dozens of meme builds, assuming they arent cheating to get these builds, which, idk how you get level 1 pokemon without cheating but maybe it aint a cheat idk. if level 1 is still a cheat (i havnt played since gen 2, when babies hatched at 5, and lowest random was 2) But anyway...tl;dr, channels like this spend most of the time losing matches and only upload the 3 matches that they actually won. Still funny. But it does make you think "hey, ill run this build and win for the lolz" then you actually do it and realize "oh..."

Honestly, if you just get magic guard, you can destroy the stall strat. The strat relies on indirect attacks (leech seed, toxic, spikes, etc), and Magic guard blocks all of those, so you can pretty much just blast through them. The only one it won't work on is endeavor-quick attack.

Stealth Rocks and hazards will just completely destroy your team. I would recommend using this Solosis set: Solosis @ Focus Sash Ability: Magic Guard Level: 1 EVs: 236 SpA IVs: 0 Atk - Trick Room - Endeavor - Magic Coat - Toxic Due to Magic Guard, Solosis takes no damage from entry hazards. It sets up Trick Room and uses endeavor to leave something on 1 HP, so a rapid spinner (like Pineco) can remove the rocks and take the KO. Toxic and Magic Coat is generally useful. Also Taunt on Whimsicott may be better incase they use taunt

Multi hit moves are less common than you think. They are really unreliable, having a good chance of only hitting twice, making a awful BP of 50. Unless a Pokemon have an ability which makes these moves better, like Skill Link or Technician, nobody is gonna use them. The only multi hit move that might get more common use that I can think of is Scale Shot due to it's Spd boosting effect, but it also lowers Def, leaving you vulnerable to most priority moves and it also has that stupid 90 Accuracy. Because of that, Scale Shot is still only really used on some niche sets so go figure. Edit: Something to add is the two multi moves that are actually reliable is Dragon Darts and Surging Strikes. But they are also exclusive moves to Dragapult and Urshifu respectively. Besides that, Specs Dragapult is a really common set so even such a good multi hit move like Dragon Darts might not get that much use.

@@DemBigOlEyes Yeah, sorry but no. Due to it being a priority move, it has even lower BP than normal multi hit moves. After Battle Bond, Water Shuriken always hits up to 3 times, but that only adds up to a lackluster BP of 45, lower than Tackle. Even if it hits 5 times, it still only has 75 BP so it's even less reliable and powerful than other multi hit moves. Not only that, the two Pokemon that can learn this move is Accelgor and Greninja, both natural fast Pokemon so this move is never really used. Most people would rather run more powerful Water type moves on Greninja anyways, since it's Special Atk while okay, isn't exactly phenomenal.

The thing to note here folks is that Ubers and other tiers like OU play very different. In OU his team would die fast due to the overabundance of entry hazards and more prominent usage of status, both of which are things not often used in Uber thanks to the much higher power level of most of the tier's inhabitants. Stealth Rocks/Spikes and Scald are all it takes to end that team quick

I remember fighting a few teams like this in Gen7 Ubers. I was new to the 'competitive' scene and didn't realise the tier was for big legendaries. Then there's my team of (Ash) Greninja, Aegislash, Garchomp, Espeon, (Mega) Blazakin and last Alonan Ninetales vs all the big bad legends. I lost a lot and won a few. Now when I first saw a team like this I was like "what is this guy/girl planning?" And over-confidentally(?) sent out Blazaken to setup and well Blazaken fainted without getting a proper shot and I just forfeited. Next time I saw a team like this, I immediately sent out my Ninetales to setup Hail and immediately switched to Espeon (it had magic bounce) so it bounced back everything toxic etc although it fainted to endeavour and priority and the hail was also almost gone. Sent out Ninetales once the hail was gone to reset it then just went into my last resort to beating this team Greninja with water shuriken and won the the match as the other guy/girl forfeited. Idk if this a sure way to beat this kind of team but it worked.

every time I see one of these videos with a team like this, my brain goes "ok, every team needs to have access to hail, sandstorm, at least 3 multihit moves, rapid spin and defog, toxic and burn, and then I'd be able to maybe, hopefully work around this"
