I kinda love how for the first few, Adam and Jimmy were going back and forth and just kinda chilling while Adam was doing his run... but the moment he sat down in his own car, he just went pure focus and didn't say a word. It also says something for how skilled he is that most of those runs were so consistent, even with unfamiliar cars - but also that as soon as he was in his car, he just ripped it.

I wouldn’t say he was unfamiliar with them since they’re S chassis’s and also just your typical FR layout. It’s like riding a bike except the only real differences is how fast the bike moves when you push the pedal

I just recently managed to get myself an s13 driving and drifting for around 2k, you can still do it, just takes some work and scouring facebook marketplace. It isn't a perfect car by any means but its a perfectly capable car for me to learn in

I feel like the z31s are actually a good alternative. It takes a bit more modding oit of the box as far as suspension is concerned but weld that diff and early 80s models with a boost controller and intercooler can easily be cranked to about 300hp with the stock fuel setup.

The best option is to buy a hobby/project drift car that someone didn't have the time to finish. You'll probably need to fix/replace a bunch of stuff but you're going to be doing that anyway.

Depends on the area that you are in, from what I’ve noticed with being in Chicago you can find a rusted drift ready S chassis for under 10k

Yeah, think of the how Jackie Chan shoots and cuts his old movies. There isn't a flashy cut and movement with every hit like most action movies. He holds the shot and keeps it wide so you can take in the master at work. It's exciting enough on its own without needing any help in the edit.

Gonna give the sauce: Find a proper auction buyer that will get the car on your behalf and ship it to the states. You can also fill out a form, pay a little bit, and pick the car up straight from the port yourself. If you get the car imported without it going to an exporter first you can save a ton of money, and what you save from skipping the dealership you can make up for in making the car nice. Japan Car direct would be a great place to start, they’re great at sniping auctions (as far as I’ve seen online) and they’ll communicate with you every step of the way to get you the car you want
