Love to hear and see Mark funking it up. Love his style of playing. Many years ago I worked alongside a lass at an insurance brokerage. Mark was a client and she went to see him at home on the IoW as they needed to discuss his security arrangements. She always said he was such a lovely and laid back guy. Took her into the kitchen, made her coffee and they passed the morning chatting about music and his life in Level 42. Certainly made her day!

I received confirmation from Andy Diggins at Jaydee Guitars that Mark King had ordered this new new cherry red Jaydee signature bass in early 2020 for the 2021 tour through the present..........

that bass looked long and very big. Like a bass with a 35" scale.

@@babapawan62 They are 34" scale necks. Mark King only stands at 5' 7" tall which is why the Series 1 body looks so large on him.

I love Level 42 but all this messing about on stage (especially when no one is in sync) is what you would expect from an act at Butlins. Cringe! Hard to watch.

Highly disagree! While you're doing a gig, as long as you're in time with eachother, there's nothing wrong with messing about a little on stage! It makes it a hell of a lot more fun not just for the audience but for the band themselves.

@@harrywhitman9751 Agree. They have fun and that is enough reason to let them have it if it pumps up the show.
