The keyboard player is the original member, Mike Lindup....so there's no one better for L42 than him. The drummer isn't my cup of tea though. He would be great in Zappa's band or Mahavishnu or Snarky Puppy....but Phil Gould was the best. He put the funk down deep in a pocket and saved his busy chops for the solo.

mark king's left hand taps are actually disgusting. he doesn't even lift the whole hand. perfect precision which adds so much. and how can he sing while playing ridiculously off beat notes and other such shenanigans? the legend learned bass in no time at all. everything is so effortless for him lol

A lot of people don't realize how truly hard it is to sing and play bass at the same time. I'm convinced Mark King is a robot or an alien or some shit because his level of talent is almost inhuman.
