Would the specular thing be positioned center of the visible light to us? Just trying to find the consistency to where it should be place, kinda looked like that was the case in the video but idk.. 3:15

If you're not viewing the main light directly head on, the reflected light will always be off center of the light source. It's totally dependent on vantage point. If we were higher up, the specular would be higher; if we were lower, it would be lower.
