OMG! I was THAT catcher who couldn't throw back to the pitcher! I thought I was the only one. My coach made me roll it back -- worked like a charm! :-) Maybe In should start t˙rowing more rollers?

In my experience, the yips often causes an "out of order" issue where some part of my body (arm, wrist, etc) either goes early, or refuses to move, basically interrupting the flow of movement. On rare occasion I've had a yip so bad it literally hurt my shoulder when I was putting. Some muscle in my arm froze and stopped the entire arm in movement, causing impingement and pain. I can trigger it more often if I'm anxious, but there's a large "out of the blue" element to this. It can show up in my best rounds where I'm in a zone. But it's almost always in putting for me, and even on my worst grip locks I don't feel like a yip was involved there. But I've missed countless close putts because of them. In a few cases the yip happens too late, the disc left the hand already, and I make the putt. The worst thing about the yips is that sometimes they just keep recurring. I could yip, miss a putt, it rolls far enough away, and I yip again. Anyhow, thank you for making this video. More people need to know that yips are a problem that's solvable. Even if you can't completely get rid of them, you can minimize the problem, and reduce the frequency it occurs.

I yip on birdie putts, butt not so much on par putts, and basicly never on boogey putts
