Hey Level! I think that the bug you mentioned with the fighter plane comes from the fact the "speed boost" seem to be doing two things at once. It gives you the boost, but it ALSO repairs you. So, considering other loadouts do only repair... that seems like an unintended bug, otherwise that ability is just flat out better than the other sets and now feels like 2 abilities just mashed together. Flares seemed cool and VERY useful for teammates. Flechette minirockets take a lot of practice but they are great at killing infantry after you get the hand of it. Hope you will give them the proper introduction. They are especially effective at killing "flat" snipers.

in War Thunder, dusting is known as sparking and is caused by the receiving or outputting player having high ping

I know this is an older post, but I've always been more of Ground Support loadout guy. Just for kicks I started fooling around more and more with the Tank Hunter loadout over the past few months and I think I've found my new love. It's just so devastating. You do sort of lose the ability to wreck the guys on the ground but it's just such a beast kit.

This was the only attack plane loadout I used in the Beta and i had no idea it had bombs, although the plane controls on Xbone were pretty awful so I am not surprised I missed them

This shit should be renamed to bomber hunter. It was kind of stupid how my gunners couldn't even get a shot off until we were blown out of the sky. Once people figured it out there was an AT attack plane spam just murdering bombers. I'd like to see a change there before bombers become useless.

Got in a plane (PS4 version) pulled the stick back to fly up. Controls are inverted by default, so I smashed straight into the ground, prompting a visit to the control room. They've really squeezed a lot of keys into the controller, causing many a mashed direction button, like putting on the gas mask when wanting the rocket gun, trying to find the mines and the dodgy melee button. found 3 prone enemy in a room all looking away, killed the first with a pickaxe to the back, selected My next target and went running screaming from the room WTF

I loved this plane in the beta but I did notice that my primary weapon was "dusting" planes quite often. I thought it might have something to do with the quick repair because I got dusted myself a lot after using quick repair to fix my wings.

the hitbox for the fighter plane needs some loving because I aim for the middle of it with the tail gunner and the bullets don't register

You forgot to mention if you drop the bombs to close to the ground you will loose lift and drop a few feet killing you as the weight of the bombs is taken off your aircraft.

I discovered this package day 2 of the beta and had an absolute blast. There was a TON of dusting though. I would land 3 shots in a row on an attack plane or bomber and all of them hit with no damage. Hope they fix.

I finally got decent with this on ps4, but the learning curve is huge. That cannon is not easy to aim and swoop down on tanks and ground targets. Got easier with practice tho.

Change the controls so that up down and roll left and right are on the keyboard and the yaw is done by the mouse. Makes it much easier.

Fighter planes are the bigger threats in the air besides AA and the train AA. Don't just ignore them lol you can one shot them with the tank hunter load out.

I never had any problems with the attack plane when i was in the breakthrough heavy tank. Of course I was always on the move and never gave enemy pilots a clean shot on Me.

who needs a tail gunner? if another plane is on your tail then just quickly jump to rear gunner seat and take them out :P then jump back to the main seat and carry on. just make sure the plane is level so it can glide by itself without crashing

I miss the "look back" function from BF4 (on consoles in 3rd person view). Without that it's extremely hard to maintain situational awareness, and in my opinion takes away the art of dog fighting. Instead of spending the time to perfect flying and practicing ways to out maneuver your opponent wile constantly being aware of what and where they are, I found myself either being a sitting duck, or looking like a private airshow above A flag thinking I'm still being followed. Thoughts?

You actually fly planes with a mouse and keyboard? I play everything except planes with a mouse and keyboard, but I have to use a controller with planes or all I can hit is a cliff. It is much easier with a controller and is much easier to pull up quicker.
