GG, good beginner tips. You might try maces and hammers on skeletons, axes don't work well on them. If it's boney use a mace, if it's fleshy, use a cutting weapon.

The springs with the brimstone is also a good place for dry wood. Just a liiittle bit gruesome - those twisty treetrunks are people transformed by a warspell during a battle between the lemurians and the godkings.

Yes they are a little creepy aren't they. It's a great place to take a bearer thrall and collect while you level them up. It's why I like to build in this area, lots of opportunity!

Lately I've take to leveling my thralls by doing laps around Slithering Island in L-6. It's easy to get them to respawn just by running over a near-bye hill across the water and then run back. Not necessarily the best or fastest way to level thralls but I like that I can be farming demon blood at the same time.

Hi Gangster, I saw you fighting some of this skellys. Whenever I'm fighting anything, just like you, I've noticed that a lot of my hits will miss. The battle system in this game is very weird and also your weapon reach seems to be too short making hits miss. What I've noticed is that if you use the lock on target button most of your hits will not miss. You need to practice with is so that you keep locking onto enemies and are also quick to unlock from them when you wanna maybe use a pot for some quick heals. Another thing is the shield is pretty useless unless you're in a 1v1 fight like thrall hunting or something like that. The speed at which the shield comes up is a bit slow or maybe it's just me cos I play on pc. I instead use 2 weapon types, axe and mace instead of shield. I use mace when I need more armor penetration on enemies like rock nose (I haven't fought skeletons yet). It kills way faster than the axe. The whole idea is to use dodge with one of these two weapons. The dodge replaces your shield. So once again some practice will do it. Nice xp farming tips BTW.

You have some good points so thank you Ong Bak. The PS4 has a lot of lag which makes it difficult. I much prefer playing on the PC. I always use the lock on but it does need improvement in this game. It will unlock very quickly in a group and switch to another enemy. I will try to relock which then causes a whole lot of problems. LOL

@@GrannyGamester When you have groups attacking you, don't use lock on. Just keep swinging your weapon and quickly dodge backwards. Rinse and repeat. In such cases light attks are preferable cos heavy sometimes has longer animations making you vulnerable. I only use lock in a group fight when one guy is closer to you while others are still a bit far so you can quickly reduce his HP and dodge backwards. Also if a group is ganging up on your thrall it's easier to use lock so you can thin out the herd. Anyway, I'm not a pro player. I'm actually a beginner at this game currently on my 5th restart. I haven't even been to Sepermaru yet.

Do you play single player with default settings on decadent/etc? If not what settings do you tweak to be able to play. Just thinking of the time PlayStation would have to be on to get a named thrall. What do you do? Sorry if I missed this in a previous video already.

I play single player in default settings. When in single player mode and not on a server the respawn time happens whenever you go out of the area and come back in. Sepermeru is great for getting named thralls for that reason. You can travel in a circle around the city looking for a named thrall and by the time you make the complete circle, where you started has respawned. They should automatically do that if they are entertainer thralls. It must be a glitch of some kind because you do not have to do anything in order for them to get rid of the corruption.

Yes it is, the only thing you have to be careful of is putting them up against 3 skull bosses in the beginning. Skeletons give really good XP so I always take mine to the skellies outside the Warmakers Sanctuary which is next to the Shattered Springs.

Unnamed City is the best place to level thralls, hands down. The jungle and the Springs are good too, but not as good as The Unnamed City

As this guide states, this is for beginners, as the Unnamed City would be very intimidating to new players. Having said that I agree with you. Once you are more experiences the Unnamed City is the way to go!

@@GrannyGamester Can confirm 😂. As a new player, I stumbled into the Unnamed city while leveling my thrall (he was level 6 at the time) and exploring and he was one-shot by the first enemy we encountered. Definitely NOT a “beginners” thrall leveling area.

You can fast travel with your horse, thrall and pets. 😊

Yes you should. I think fish is the food for them only I can't remember which one is in their diet menu. Agility will give them better accuracy with the bow.
