Good video, I ended up using resting rites for so many cores during my first play through. My Item box was always full. Also, that revenant got Impaled In the nads.

Leveling up soul cores is actually not worth it u can easily go to Cherry Blossom Viewing in Daigo there is a big sumdama give him two soulcores the first one should be that one which u want to change perks and level 160 the second one u need to sacrifice. So the sumdama gives u the first one back with different perks u can check it right away if u are not happy with the new perks quit the game and do it again. U can do that so often till u have that one u wish. It's much quicker then leveling up and grinding for new ones specially when it comes to rare ones. Maybe u can do a video about that I think it's a very useful "trick"

Yeah I spotted that trick.. Pretty cool. Leveling up a soul core is only worth it if the attributes on it are perfect for you... Otherwise just farming new ones like you said would be better

I found my perfect soulcore very early in NG. It is easy to carry it through all difficulties. Because soul fusion has no money cost like soul matching.

another tip guy’s.. give kodama a soulcore.. sometimes they give a “kodama soulcore” ✌️😄👍 good for farming to use it + kodama bowl..

A Nue just dropped a 200 Level Soul Core in the Depths. The perks are horrible on it but due to how high level it is, it’s damage potential is immense.

For those who have low level soul cores and don't have a lot of duplicates. You can RE-ROLL soul cores with the big sudama that are randomly around. You drop 1 (the first you want to re-roll and the 2nd for sacrifice) so you can save a lot of time with regards to farming up new soul cores. The re-roll is random but it can save a good chunk of soul core farming

@@Onos Odachi is so fun with that Swirling Snow move. I recall the first time I picked it up, a few weeks ago, and it just shreds pretty much any Human foe, especially Revenants and the Dojo Masters / mini-boss ones, cause they go into "block mode" - but Swirling Snow cares not ! In short order their Ki is broken, and they are on the ground, ready for a Final Blow attack. Move back - reset and resume the swirl. Just dominating. (good video -- I too have my one Kodama Core that actually dropped with Luck - one of the "innate effects" that we seemingly can't find Inheritables for - it must appear naturally on one of them. He started out much lower - like 121 I think ? And I slowly leveled him up, much as you describe here, but he also capped at 159. I can't really get him higher than that, no matter how many 160's I throw into the mix. I'm assuming I'd need to find a 170, to actually budge him beyond 159, so we'll probably have to wait till the DLC and likely Level-200 new max, to get beyond that, for now).

I got a lucky core drop last night actually when trading with a big-sudama... haven't even looked at it yet - may use it to push my luck build a little further!

Yea and when you get to late game those numbers don't mean shit. It's the options that valuable, i just resting rites the useless one and keep the good one. Annoying think say you can't boost up you attunement limit. Say you will almost be running with 1 or lucky 2 good soul core and 1 shitty one but with good stat. Balaced I guess...

what sucks about this. you need the soul cores to get a material you need to forge a armor or weapon. so grinding cores is a bigger pain then looking for texts.

Just do brothers blade on expeditions dont break the crystal just go to the boss kill the boss and then the rev they both have a chance to drop a mortal core that can be 170 my oni bi is at 165 and 163 and otakemaru is 170

I'm sure a 170 core would push it up. Sadly it would have to be the same core name or a mortal. Too bad, because I have gotten about 5 cores o drop that were 170, but none are of the type that I actually use.

It seems any of them can drop at 170 with enough grinding. The snake boss thing, as part of that new last triple boss mission has dropped 170 for me about 3 or 4 times. An Enki dropped 170 for me for me in that one new mission where you keep fighting waves. However I just got an Enenra 170 from a lvl 10 mission when helping someone. lol I used one of those snake ones to get my weapon up by upping a soul weapon first. Not sure if anyone has mentioned this possibility, but before that process I used a 160 core to put a trait on that soul weapon that I wanted to carry over to my main weapon, along with the 170, a trait that only appears on soul cores. In this case I chose additional anima from amrita I believe. Looks cool on a weapon. I did get lucky and get 2 different divine 170 range weapon drops, along with 1 170 armor drop too. Just need some more armor ones to drop to fill out the rest.

If both pieces aren’t the same type (both divine) you won’t lvl up. Can’t level up a green with a purple for instance. Hope this helps

Yeah I have several of those. I have gotten at least one divine to drop though and I leveled up my chest pc with it. Figured it was the biggest gain.

During my 460 hours of play I've found at least 2 mortal soul cores with inheritables on.. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a place these are guaranteed??

So I tried this out with some gaki soul cores, sacrificed a few lv 100+ ones to a lv 10 one, but the finished version was still lv 10 :/ Edit: Seems I have to max out the lv 10 first, have nowhere enough soulcores for that jazz xD

@@Onos I get soul cores atlest 1 per 2 runs and about 15 runs you get a 170 that was before 1.09 havent done it in awhile kinda took a break and came back when they released the new mission but it's not uncommon and they have good chances for special effects to pass on
