Levelling Up For People With Learning Disabilities and/or Autism Part 2: Employment

A virtual conference exploring equality of access to meaningful employment for people with learning disabilities and/or autism
In England, only 5.1% of adults with a learning disability known to local authorities are in paid work. (NHS Digital 2021).
This virtual conference will explore how people with a learning disability and/or autism have equality of access to learning and development and meaningful employment.
It will reflect on the challenges and implications for stakeholders in the sector and explore how positive outcomes can be achieved for people in receipt of services and potential employers, through innovative practice.
The event will allow a wide range of stakeholders to listen to and participate in the debate including people with lived experience, frontline care and support staff, registered managers, thought leaders and influencers.
