Welcome to the WAGScast: Empowering Women, Inspiring Change.
In this special video episode, Professor Martin Green, CEO of Care England chairs a discussion with some of social care’s senior female leaders on the critical issues surrounding social care in the lead-up to the upcoming general election on July 4th.
Martin was joined by Karolina Gerlich, CEO of The Care Worker’s Charity, Debbie Harris, Managing Director of Autumna, Professor Vic Rayner, CEO at the National Care Forum and Ann Taylor, CEO of Hilton Nursing Partners to discuss:
• What would you ask of the new Government in its first 100 days to improve the state of social care?
• How can social care connect with the public, as well as with politicians?
• How can we improve the status of care workers?
• What do politicians need to make note of when pursuing an integrated care agenda?
• Where should decisions be made at the local level as opposed to the national level?
• What can the Government do to encourage more people into the social care workforce and to ensure talent is retained?
Are you a woman achieving greatness in social care, or know another woman or female-led team achieving greatness?
