Majorette certainly have made great improvement over the years especially when it comes to the wheels. The opening features work well & the cars do have some weight to them. I must have several hundred including rigs going all the way back to the '80s. Thanks for showing the video. Always interesting!

Wow so many majorette models 👏😆. I'm looking forward for the unboxing. I really liked the toyota set, do we know if they sell that here in the U.S. ? . Thanks for sharing 😉👍

I really want to love Majorette, but the slightly too-big scale leaves me cold.

I couldn’t agree more. I don’t like that they are slightly bigger than HW or MBX. Plus I don’t like that they don’t have metal base on their premium cars. You want to see quality Majorette cars, then you need to buy Majorette from the 70s and 80s. They had metal base on their regular line and real good working suspension and nice stamped details in the body. And they had a smaller size equivalent to HW and MBX

Here in Denmark diecast cars are more or less the same price as in Australia. But I wouldn’t pay 15 AUD/10 USD for a premium Majorette. IMO they don’t have the same quality and premium feel like HW premium cars. And I just don’t like that they are slightly bigger than HW or MBX. We don’t really have the premium stuff from either HW, Majorette or MBX or any other diecast brand. Everything has to more or less be imported via eBay or some web shop (danish or foreign - either way prices are around 12-15 USD per car). Some toy stores tried to sell the premium HW and they charge around 12 USD

The deluxe Majorette that we do get here in the US retails for around $4 USD. I am not sure how they do that as I think they should be more situated at $7 or $8 USD based on the value by comparison. I could not survive if there were not a wide diecast market where I live.
