My theory: The Goomba revolution was all planned the revolution long ago, and hat goomba was the one of first steps, "golden" goomba was probably the one to convince bowser to give "hat" goomba a promotion to give give the revolution a head-start! So the "Mario chases bowser series" is between the end of the hat goomba episode and the Goomba revolution!
