This episode reminds me of the importance of stepping out of our comfort zones. But I understand you try to soften the words and not to push us too hard. It's all about balance right? Thank you for your kindness :)

That was a fantastic episode! It motivated me a lot. I especially enjoyed that Michael asked Steve about the intermediate plateau. It made me realise that I need to read more novels to improve my vocabulary. Thank you so much for putting lots effort making such a great episode.

Well, that was a great conversation. Actually other day I was watching Luke's English learning videos on KZbin and he was reading article written by Steve if I heard it clearly. Here I saw him first time on your channel. That's amazing. Great points mentioned for language learners.

Amazing! I'm sure most people have come across Steve at some point like you had, but I'm pleased to bring him to you for the first time (face to face)

I like Steve's comment about some frustration we can face in learning languages. Specifically i totally agree that reading non fiction books is far easier than comprehension of fiction books. Nowadays I try to read novels more in order to expand my vocabulary as well as some expressions, which, i hope, would be helpful in my listening and speaking of English.😂

Hi, Michael, Steve has mentioned Czech language, I am very curious if he can speak in my native language..😉 btw there is really useful advice for me here because I have been finding myself in that 'intermediate plateau' for maybe two years. The other day I started read my first book..The old man and the sea..It's very important to choose the right book..😉

Hi! I don't know his level in Czech, but yes - he does speak some Czech! There are some older videos on KZbin showing him speaking it. Great to hear you found a book that helped you 🙂 Keep pushing on!
