For the 3 phases of Stage 1, I just remembered the cm is in 3’s so phase 1: 0-3 cm dilated, phase 2: 4-7 cm dilated, and phase 3: 8-10 cm dilated.

I was 9cm and still breathing and focused through contractions, 7 minutes apart too, and had no pain. It all just depends on the woman and how calm she is and how much natural oxytocin has been allowed to go through her beforehand.
