Wayne wasn't charging for those verses. He was doing verses and features on the solid during that time because Birdman/Cash Money was fucking him over. So he was flooding the market with features and guest spots on other people's projects and was forcing Birdman/Cash Money to make assholes of themselves to step on all these other people's projects to not clear a Wayne verse. That's why Birdman backed off because they were catching a lot of heat from other artists for stepping on their project because of a Wayne feature.
