I don't know about early career number 10 Pirlo, but late career deep lying Juventus Pirlo was a centrebacks nightmare. Swaggering around, too small and efete to make a tackle, demanding the ball off the centrebacks toes, only to dally on it before passing it to the other centreback putting him under pressure who then hoofs it up the field whilst Pirlo does a little shrug for the televison cameras like "what can I do" a real fetishists player.
