I stumbled upon a clipping of this song on FB.. I must’ve listened to it on repeat at least 30 times. It had me by the throat, but my heart as well. My fiancé broke up with me on 10/27, moved out a couple days later and got himself a new girl to shower with attention. He was just about to reach his 2 year anniversary, but before he left, turns out he relapsed. Meth. He was on it for at least 4 years. He always told me that I am who saved him, that he wouldn’t be alive without me. Well, now who does he have? Over the years of walking with him through his recovery, I silently told myself that if he ever went back to the drugs that he’d never come home, that he wouldn’t survive it. I loved him through the darkness, through all the stars in the sky. And now I’m alone and I’m finding myself listening to this song with my eyes closed on repeat, praying to God that he makes it.. I will always love him despite everything.

@ he actually got so sick that he started seeing demons and evil things. He killed his wife of 65 years, my Mimi, in September with a baseball bat. He was thrown in jail for 18 days, went to a mental hospital, and came back home with us for the last 7 days of his life. He would have never hurt anyone. Especially not Mimi. He died 2 months and 4 days later after her. The lyrics in this song are so powerful. I have honestly listened on repeat. I’ve been waiting for this to drop since you posted the sneak peek!
