definitely 24... 23 looks way too tight. also I did not know that for a 26.5'' waist, ppl would get 23'' or 24'' haha... I thought the number of the jean should correspond or at least be somewhat similar to your waist number

I just bought these. I'm 5'1" as well and love the way they fit when you first try them on. I wore them around my house for a couple of hours while working from home and noticed they start to stretch out and look wrinkly after a while since it's such a thin, stretchy jean material. Have you noticed this? Curious if they wash well - the material almost feels a little cheap.

I haven't really noticed this too much - they haven't stretched out on me and they do wash well! But yes, the material is definitely on the thin side but I actually prefer it. I don't want all my jeans to be thick and stiff, I feel like I can move around in these much easier 😅

Do you have a short torso cuz I have a short torso with long legs?

No I'd say my torso to leg ratio is fairly proportional! I usually wear pants a bit higher up (at my natural waistline) so my legs appear longer.
