I agree with your assessment on how we want to feel in our jeans ~ when shopping, if its not a Wow, its a No.

Please look into COS t-shirts, they are great. If Arket is available in the US, then brand’s t-shirts are also great, especially in heavy cotton. These Swedish brands know what they are doing, everything from these two brands are so cool and right fit for your age. Their linen, knitwear and other basics are amazing

I really liked the medium/dark blue Wedgie Bootcuts on you- they were very flattering and effortless-looking! Honestly all of them were like 10x more attractive than the Everlane ones though 🖤❤

Yessss! You look so much better in the low loose, imho. I've watched your Everlane denim video and was hopeful you'd find better fits with Levi's as a fellow Asian and rectangular body shape gal though I'm shorter at only 5 ft. Skinnies look great on skinny women, lol. I'd stick to straight leg fits and not curvy unless you really want to emphasize your widest part of your body (waist and hips). I personally do not like the bootcut fit, to me it again emphasizes the widest part of your body, and I'm not a fan of the curvy look on a straight body..? Instead, I'd suggest you also try Levi's baggy dad jeans, they're in a mid-rise fit, come in 100% cotton (materials vary by color), and they're currently my favorite fit from Levi's. The only thing you may not like about the baggy dad fit is that the cotton is thinner and soft, not rigid. But it's specifically made that way so you get that nice drapey look. You can wear feminine boots or dressy heels/sandals, Mary Jane flats, sneakers, even Birkenstocks, so it's pretty versatile and comfy! I've not tried the low loose because the rise listed (8 3/4") were kinda too low for my preference. And Levi's online do get sales, up to 30% at times, so keep your eye out and cross my fingers you find more great fits in the future and rev up your style. Don't worry that you may think you suck at fashion now, you will only get better and better with trial and error and simply trying things on and find what you like vs. not like.

thank you so much! The low loose jean has been like my daily jean since I bought them, they're so comfortable and so cool and surprisingly I don't notice them being too low at all! Oohh I definitely need to give the baggy dad jean a try, I haven't tried a softer wide leg denim jean yet. OMG I know 😭I just recently looked on Levis and the low loose jean is 30% off now & thank you for the encouragement!! 🥰

Meanwhile I’ve been stealing my brother’s hand me downs from way back 🤣. But we don’t look that similar so maybe I’d feel differently otherwise. This is interesting and helpful to me even though we have opposite proportions, thanks!

hahaha my favorite sweatshirt I own is my brother's sweatshirt from middle school 😅 I'm so glad this was helpful - thank you for watching!

Would love to know how you fade your jeans yourself? 👖
@ireeesebeautyy25 күн бұрын
I try to wear new jeans as much as I can before the first wash and then wash them as infrequently as possible. If you wear them daily (and do some squats and sit in them a lot) then you can wash them after 1 week of wear, but if you wear them a bit less, then maybe try to wait 2 weeks before the first wash. Some people who are more serious about fading their jeans will wear them for like one year before their first wash! Or if you want to wash their jeans faster, you can use a cloth, or paper towel, or VERY gentle sand paper to rub the areas that you want to fade (like front of the knee, upper thigh area, etc). Then when I wash them, I turn them inside out and hand wash them in cold water with Woolite dark or Castile soap and then I air dry them outside in the shade - that way it prevents the dye from fading too quickly on the rest of the jeans. Hope this helps! I'll have a video out in a few weeks reviewing a new pair of jeans, breaking them in, and washing them for the first time to see how they fade :)

I always thought if you washed & dried your jeans more often they’d fade quicker to give them that “I’d had these for years” look. Thank you, I appreciate the help and will definitely watch your next video! 😊

That’s definitely a great way to get an overall washed out/faded look if that’s what you’re going for too! ☺️

Are any of these Jeans button fly? I know a lot of Levi’s jeans are button flys… that’s a deal breaker for me…
@ireeesebeautyy21 күн бұрын
Oohh, yes, the 501 Original, 501 Skinny, and the Bootcut Jean are all button fly. The Middie straight and the Low Loose have a zip fly
