There's bad / poor quality control with the new Levis brand Denim Trucker jacket , I bought 2 new Levis denim trucker jackets recently from ebay sellers both had to be returned one is having difficult issue with request, simply put the jackets does not fit well , I think Levis is not making incorrect size fit jackets now and there are many customer review complaints about this issue I've wanted a Levis jacket for years now I can finally afford them and they do not fit accordingly to my size so instead of getting a sz XL I I need to order a sz XXL one size up for the Levis brand jacket fit, So that is a big disappointment with the Levis brand

​@@MensFashionFiles ebay one of the sellers were extremely displeased that I was returning it, I was gonna buy a third Levis Sherpa Jean Jacket glad that was cancelled before shipment, surprisingly Gap denim jean jacket seem to be more consistent in size than Levis also Wrangler trucker denim jacket in sz XL are true to size and more affordable, its best to try it in the stores first to make sure correct sizes before purchasing online, great channel btw keep it up !

@@davidallen346 yea eBay is a little difficult to return items since it's a person selling it to you rather than a big corporation like Amazon. Gap Denim is pretty good. The blue denim jacket I'm wearing @5:23 is actually from GAP. However, one thing I don't like about is the fit. It's a little wide in my arms. I love Levi’s, I’ve been wearing Levi’s since the 80s… But then their quality went down so I banded them for almost 20 years until recently when I could find my size and correct fit… Like the 511‘s. And although Levi’s pretty much invented the denim trucker jacket… There are other brands like G star, LuckyBrand, Ralph, Lauren, denim and supply,Lee Rider, Wrangler, Diesel etc that have great options..and because they have a modern slimmer fit and other cuts.. but still pay homage to the vintage classics..are also great options.. but whatever fits the best, that looks and feels like quality denim is important.. no matter what brand..

Just picked up a 2nd one of these. Got a black one from Ross for $40 back in 2019. Then just got a blue one in excellent condition from Buffalo Exchange for $32 using store credit. I'll only buy the 100% cotton denim jackets. Not a fan of the stretch denim. All the original Levis jeans jackets I've had from the 1960's-1980's have all been 100% cotton. I know they make a Type 2 that costs $198 with 98% cotton, 2% spandex.

You can pick up trucker jackets in the fall around August/September at Ross. They usually have them for 50%-60% off whatever the original retail price was. Sometimes they have weird versions you'll never find anywhere else. I've seen some Levis trucker jackets there that are really strange and say, "I can see how this ended up here. Why would anyone buy this?! LOL".

Sometimes when I get lazy, I will wear a black motorcycle jacket and black jeans but I don’t really like it as much as wearing faded indigo jeans… Even though black on black looks OK, I feel lazy about it… Like I’m not trying to find some thing else that works… so a black denim jacket that has slight fading works well with dark indigo on the bottom, but I never really liked turtlenecks with denim jackets… I think something open with a collar, like a nice western denim shirt or western style plaid looks really cool with slightly faded medium blue jeans, but not the ones that are completely faded light blue..because they look too flat and ordinary…

And you’re right Blue and khaki go together or it’s actually blue and yellow are complementary colors and of course khaki has the tones of yellow, brown and orange, and they all look good with blue, but it depends on the type of blue… Royal blue, teal, electric blue… That stuff that looks synthetic … Don’t really work well with organic colors like brown, khaki, warm orange, etc. Denim blue or indigo, navy, French, Midnight, the warmer blues are much better..Salmon, blood red, Chinese red, the deeper red warmer reds, greens, like most other colors that aren’t necessarily complimentary, work best as warmer tones..I’m a painter/artist so understanding color chemistry is everything for me and it surely helps when creating your own style..

I like 100% cotton denim Vs stretch fabric on my Levi's denim jackets. Although, stretch fabric can be great if you're in between sizes and need a little more room without completely sizing up. Good review bro! Can't have enough Levi's denim jackets. 😄👍

Hey Sam, what is your chest size? Are you looking at pre washed or raw denim? If the jacket is raw denim then I would recommend sizing down because it will stretch over time but if you're looking at prewashed jackets (like the one shown in this video), you shouldn't expect it to stretch much or at all.

What's the difference between type3 #72334-0134 and the #72334-0178? And why can't I find a new -0178 new? I just ordered a #72334-0557 with the real leather patch and the big (E) I currently own a #72334-0322 which is 98%cotton and 2% elastane and a 0134 100%cotton no stretch.

Looking at pictures -0134 and -0178 looks exactly the same so I can't say. I'm guessing you can't get a new one because they don't make -0178 anymore. The -0134 is probably the updated version of the -0178. Great collection you have there, definitely a big plus to get that big E 👌

Levi's constantly adds new models that may look slightly similar but when they sell out, they're typically replaced with an all new model number. It makes them somewhat collectible too. You may still be able to find it new on eBay.

Awesome video! I'm thinking of buying this for the fall season! Anyways, I'm 5'4 and 32 chest so I'm a short fella, do you think an XS would fit me perfectly or would it be too long? (I'm thinking of layering this with a hoodie) thanks!

I'm pretty confident that you'll be happy with an XS. It's made for people with 32-34 chest. Levi's denim jackets are always designed to have somewhat of a cropped fit so you don't ever have to worry about it being too long 🙂
