very nice jeans just received mine really nice quality Japanese made, and I did some research they are made in Hiroshima Japan. just for interest do I remove the white stitching on the rear pocket that attached the label? thanks in advance

Hello, hope you're doing well. I recently bought my first LVC jeans (dark blue 505's) -raw denim(i figured that out cz of this video so thankyou ) Im afraid they're shrink to fits Because they fit me perfectly. I still havent washed them yet but i wore them multiple times. Advice on how to wash them to first of all preserve the color. And second of all not to let them shrink

I normally wear them for couple weeks to stretch them to the maximum. Then I will do first initial wash (soak). Inside out cold water with a few drop of Dr. Bronner's soap soak for 30-45minutes, rinse well (3 times at least) hang them dry but not completely if they tight fit put them on while they still damp and wear them till dry. @ if i wash it in the washing machine with some mild detergent and cold water would it shrink? I dont want it to shrink since it fits me perfectly

Thanks for sharing, good review as always. I tend to wear 33 waist for regular Levi's and 34 for STF. Would you recommend I stick to 33 size with these since they don't shrink? thanks.

For me personally they much better than LVC '47 501....slimmer fit. My LVC '47 501 even after good 45min soak and one wash are still way too baggy, I should do review sometime soon. Thank you for watching.

@Klaxet Appreciate the input. I have a pair of LVC '54 501's, but I'm debating adding either the '47 or '66 501's or 67 505's. Ideally, I'd like a slightly more relaxed top block and straighter leg than the 54's offer.

How much did these jeans stretch for you with use? I just received my pair and I worry that they'll be too tight in the crotch and waist unless they stretch out a little...

They did stretch a little in the waist maybe by 1/2 inch. I did the first wash - cold water no dryer, they didn't shrink much at all. I will do an update post soon.

Can be shrinking expected after washing???

This is sanforized denim so shrinkage will be minimal. I did first soak (30min in the cold water) they didn't shrink much at all only lengthwise by 0.25 ". I will do an update post after the first wash.

@@Klaxet Thank you for the answer. I wash my jeans always in warm water, so i am afraid, that the will shrink in length too much and perhaps in the waist. My length size is 32 and i am not sure, if they shrink too much in length after washing.
