I've worn this for 7 months already. In my opinion, this is the best jeans that I have ever worn

They must’ve started to fade beautifully, glad you like them. I like mine as well and still think these are far superior than most of the regular jeans out there. They just seem a bit overpriced, since they have same prices as LVCs. I’m guessing some percentages of the price comes from importing and taxes, because making products in Japan and then moving them globally must cost a lot.

저도 이 모델과 502를 갖고 있습니다. MIJ가 옛날 LMC의 후속라인으로 알고있는데요, 501이나 511, 그리고 그 외 소수의 제품을 제외하면 대부분 원단만 일본산이고 생산은 중국에서 했더라구요. 리바이스의 일반 제품군보다 색다른걸 찾으면 괜찮은 선택이겠지만, 복각이나 일본산 데님을 찾는다면 계륵같은 제품이라 생각합니다. 영상 잘봤습니다!

Did the thigh or calf area shrink in width after you soaked or washed them?

I don't think I've washed these pairs yet. I'll update it when I do. However, all unsanforized denim fabrics shrink in both length & width with the length usually shrinking more than the width.

Mine shrank a bit in length. But they were longer than usual at first so end result is still long enough.

@@eb1504 It’s one of the shrink to fit models, so I reckon they are unsanforzied.

@@godo_denimsi just bought this week ago, and i dont experience any shrinkage after soaking last night. I think this MIJ model is unsanforized (hence the hairy texture), but one washed because there is no shrinking. And actually this MIJ model is priced quite well in the offline store (under $200), as it priced similarly with those from japanese brand in the same range of weight (samurai, oni, flathead, d’artisan)
