Well now with Vidalia mills opened and using the old looms from white oak I think American denim will be fine. In fact, u can pre order left field jeans made from vidalia denim and cut and sewn in California. 100 percent American made. Their molly Maguire jacket from left field is a thing of beauty!!

It truly is! Christian is an old buddy of mine and I just love their gear. The Commander jacket is one of my favourite pieces of all time!

You have a point. I'm only a newbie denimhead (but always bought the thicker Levi's even in the 1990's) and have 2 pairs of White Oak. One from a Levis Outlet store bought years ago by chance and one from this odd fable Natural Selection brand - "No Evil" Organic denim from Cone Mills. Unless I'm confusing White Oak and Cone Denim. All very confusing...

Good video 👍 , but does anyone know if a 33 leg on a pair of 501 new ones are a collector item as it's a miss cut because they should be 32W32L

Heard from a couple of guys. One of them got the no arcs and was not happy. Thought they looks just like any other jeans. Guess it’s a dice roll. Another was super happy with the upside down arcs he got.

Hey I recently bought this jacket I think you would love it. It's the Rogue territory supply jacket in waxed canvas but it comes in 15oz denim as well.

I think that is part of the fun. I mean, back in the day you would not be able to choose the inconsistencies either but you are right... it is a LOT of money... I was super tempted but in the end I held off.

Nice to hear it and thanks for the kind words. I love a pair of Nudies, they were my first project pair! Average Joes, and still my best fades pair of jeans ever! Stretch selvedge is just selvedge fabric that has a bit of elastane (or something similar) mixed in to give it a little bit of stretch.

Yeah, seems that the die hard denim stores got sold out super fast and the Levi's online shops no one thought to look there. Interesting reflection of the average Levi's customer.😂
