I think Bungie heard loud and clear complaints from us Warlocks by the time Lightfall came out. Since then we've got banger after banger: I know not many people enjoy or main Cenotaph nor Briarbinds (I love these gauntlets), but each expanded and brought a whole new playstyle to their respective subclass. Then, between Speaker's Sight, Mataidoxia and now Rime-Coat, we've recieved exotics that expand and enhance subclass-specific builds while also serving as excellent tools for Prismatic counterparts as well.

Cool thing some people might not realize about anything that's given Anti-barrier (including arcane needle with Matiodoxia) it will bypass all shields. The scorn bucklers, hydra shields, knight shields, all of them. I didn't realize that till a couple seasons ago, just wanted to share in case anyone watching wasn't aware. I'm sure most of you do but hey just ignore this 😂

@@samuelstevens902 sadly the lament still doesn’t go through phalanx shields. And there’s some other weird interactions. But yes, for the most part, that’s right. It’s really nice on immune hobgoblins

Bro! This is my go-to build this season (subbing in exotics heavy weapons as needed). Gets overload from GL if you need it, Vantage is a workhorse, use whatever heavy you need, chest piece gets barrier. So cool to see you using the setup!! Keep up the work! Always love watching your videos and hearing your thoughts on runs and builds.

I really appreciate that you run different builds and try unique things. Whenever I try to do that my monkey brain just goes, "ya know this would have been much easier if you just used rime coat." I know if I tried more off meta things it would make me a better player and build crafter.... just so hard to get myself to do it lol.

The surprise of this season is that pulse riffle its soo frigging great . I absolutely love it and personally was able to delete a bunch of weapons because of how good it is. Same for the breach GL.

The bs you encountered with arcane needle is why I love the consistency of anti-barrier exotics so much. There’s no cowering behind cover for the next several minutes because you whiffed your melee, there’s no running out of adds to proc volatile rounds off of, if you whiff your shot you can just shoot again. I’m not saying that the other sources of anti-barrier are bad. Especially in endgame content, where every bit of build real estate counts, getting anti-barrier from your subclass or armour can be insanely useful. I just like to have a consistent barrier break in day-to-day play. I may also have some lingering trauma from being a new light in season 14 and thinking that bursting a barrier champ down before they got their shield back was the only way to deal with them.

I did a solo run with my Prismatic Abeyant Leap build. Its a fun build to use and it has different types of damage resists wich is great.

Good video as usual. Finished the solo run too and used a heavy I haven’t seen anyone using. Colony 😊 and actually was doing pretty well. Best part u can’t kill yourself sitting in the cheese spot protecting ghost. 😂

I ran it a few weeks back in gms and couldn’t get the stun to work most of the time. And i saw one suspension effect.

Throwing out a Rimecoat turret, immediately firing a shot from Velocity Baton, and watching over half of a GM Barrier Champions health instantly disappear. It is a thing of beauty.

I’ve been trying to solo this gm and I can’t get this 9:21 cheese spot to work at all, literally every time I just get a grenade stuck to my back

It’s probably because the Scorn can see your feet sticking out. You have to get the angle just right and then ONLY use the right stick. Hope that helps you.

Needles have pretty aggressive tracking which is usually pretty useful, but wrathborn spire is considered a living object and stand before the knight, so the needles angle towards it. Also fps in the video really inconsistent, maybe set recording to 30 fps next time.
