Levis Berk Trucker Jacket Unboxing [

I've been wearing the Levi's original black denim trucker jacket since the late 90s when I was in high school. I'm 5'10 and thin, so I go for a size Medium, because of my height and body proportion, a size Small is too tight on me and the sleeves are just too short. Regardless of what type of jacket I wear, I always want a little bit of breathing room.

It's a got a very similar Levi's jacket and is more than great. It's a mix between sophisticated, sober and relaxed. I'm 1.77 cm and bought a XL cause in winter I can wear in layers and looks perfect! Nice vid pal!

Couldnt stand the matt black buttons so used a light grade sanding pad to take off the black revealing the silver buttons underneath. Much more traditional broken in looking jacket now.

Black denim jacket yesss 😭 (I always have trouble with size with Levi's omg. I’m 6'0 and that means my arms are a bit long and for some reason the arms on the denim jackets are a bit too short or too long which is annoying, but is not much of a problem usually because it looks good either way 😁)

I have been looking for a though good looking jacket that I could wear in all weather for chores around the rach, would this be bearable in warm weather as well or is it super warm?

It’s meant for warmer weather. The jacket is only denim with no lining, so it should be perfectly fine for anything up to about 30 degrees Celsius.

I have this jacket... Managed to find it in a department store here in Australia. Interesting that my red tag is the same as yours... No Levis wording on it just the R. Did yours really stink with a chemical almost burnt smell? Mine did. It went away quickly when wearing though. Have you washed it yet? The Levis lady told me to soak it in salt before washing... Apparently they are known for dumping a ton of colour when washed.🙏

Maybe the red label with just the R is new or for specific ranges. I don’t really know.mine didn’t smell at all. Maybe someone had tried yours on before you and was wearing questionable perfume 😂 I haven’t washed mine yet but I was told the same that the black might run a lot.

All the jackets [of varying sizes] on the rack had the same chemical odour... Weird. I gave mine a good brushing with a cloths brush at the end of the season. Not sure how long you can wear a denim jacket before you need to wash it??? 🤢 Anyway, I love mine. It’s certainly different from the average black Levis jacket. Don’t know about you but I get a lot of comments. 🙏🥂

Morten Lauridsen Mate, don’t return it🙏 They are a really nice jacket and the smell goes away after a few weeks. I actually went into a Louis Vuitton store and sprayed it with my favourite perfume😁 My two cents worth😁

Morten Lauridsen Well, I hope you choose to keep it. I love mine. Also the fact that they are a bit of a rare one. Just preserve with the stink but avoid washing it if you can. I use a clothing brush on mine regularly. I actually did return one because of the stink. However I washed it to get the stink out and all the colour washed out. So I thought it was faulty... When I got the replacement (which still stank) I rang Levi’s for advice. I was told to try and not wash it. But if I had to, to wash it in cold water, in a bath tub, use special darks/blacks detergent, with a few table spoons of salt. I’ve asked around, including my tailor and that seems an acceptable method. But I haven’t washed mine yet.

I bought the smallest size. The sleeves were still quite baggy on me so I took it to a tailors to have some material removed. The jacket you see in this video is AFTER the sleeves were altered. Because I'm slim (5' 10" approx 9 stone) it would have been better to buy a women's jacket but the women's are too short for a man to wear.

It depends if you are slim or heavy build. If you are slim XXL will be too big but you can take it to a tailors to have it altered. I had the sleeves made thinner on mine because I have skinny arms.

I would love to see how a size down would have fit. Imo it looks a little big, but nothing a jumper underneath wouldn’t solve. I only wear my denim jacket with tees so.

There is no size down. That’s the smallest. I’m quite thin, so on a lot of people it wouldn’t look so big.

Turn the jacket inside out and wash it on cold setting.

Dry cleaning is the same as if u were 2 wash it yourself at home. Except the dry cleaners use a chemical 2 wash it. Honestly it’s a waste of money. Jus wash it yourself nothing will happen 2 it.

It’s described in several places as “clean black” or “deep black”. During the unboxing it looks like a faded or washed out black but at the end of the video you see the true colour.
