Can you set a desired percentage of humidity for the auto mode, eg 60% and does it actually work?

I second this. I need a humidifyer that can maintain RH between 40 and 70 %. However it sounds like this one can only do that for 40-50. Why is the range on the app showing 30-80 then? Or is this "Auto mode" function unrelated to the value you can set on the app?

As soon as I added water to the tank, lots of water went to the base!! Not sure way!!
