Levon Aronian is one of the most colourfully dressed grandmaster and also someone who has an immense passion for chess. He played for Armenia and won multiple medals at the Olympiads before he moved to the United States. Aronian has played some brilliant games at the Olympiads against some of the well known grandmasters. Armenia is also known to have a strong chess culture which includes chess being a part of the academic curriculum in the schools and having one of the highest grandmasters per capita in the world.

I just wanted to say that as an Armenian we will always be thankful to Levon for what he has done for Armenian chess. Without him we would not have won 3 chess Olympiads( 2006,2008,2012). We will always be grateful that we had a player like him. I hope we will have another Tigran Petrosian( chess champion) and Levon Aronian in Armenian chess in the nearest future.

Levon's pieces play for themselves. It's serene, it's almost as if you are on fire but its giving you warmth so it doesn't matter. I'm not even making sense anymore but who cares, I just wanted to say something on this guy who pulled me back in chess.
