I've been watching your videos since the start of my training about 6-7 months ago. I literelly binge watch your videos all throughout the week. Just wanted to say thank you for the videos. I love your humor and your knowledge. One day I hope to meet you. Hopefully in a few months I'll be ready for that checkride.

Whoooo that engine failure on the ground would have taken me a minute to relax from! That's intense. Having the plane pull in a direction in the air is one thing, there's nothing to hit, but on the ground, that's scary. Great video as always Lewis!

super cool vide, as always. Thanks! If you're familiar with an Arrow, then you won't struggle in a seminole. There are slight differences but it's easy enough to get to grips with.

Flying an A36 Bonanza, 214Hrs in the past 8 months so I’m used to positive rate, gear up…. Going through my MEL in a Duchess B76 last week and instructor said the same thing ! Man was I pissed that I missed the gear up…. I was focused on him getting ready to fail one of the engines ! In the end….. the gear wouldn’t retract. Grrr. So, back to land and have to wait until its fixed.

Pretty sure that lack of climb performance was due to the density altitude, not the gear ;)

When he said he was going to fail an engine on the runway, I thought he meant on rotation where you have to climb out from the runway single engine. Isn't that different than a failure on upwind?
